Nimble fingers caught the glass before it could slide off the table’s edge, lifting it slowly to take a sip as Arris began to talk, her assessment of the galaxy earning a huff of a laugh and a small shake of her head as she brought the whiskey to her lips taking a small sip before setting the glass down eyes settling on the cyborg.
It slipped away the moment she mentioned Humbarine, something uncomfortable twisting in her chest. All that power, all those thoughts passing through her. Even thinking about it made the ringing in her ears start again. She took another sip, forcing her eyes back to Arris as she mentioned the Jedi.
