Ana Rix
Character
Ana shifted slowly, rolling onto her back before pushing herself upright with care. She stretched her arms overhead, then immediately hissed and let out a quiet grunt as her ribs reminded her they still existed. One hand pressed briefly to her side as she tested a breath, shallow at first, then a little deeper.
"Sore," she said honestly, exhaling. "But functional. I'll take that as a win."
She accepted the ration bar and the bottle of water from him, fingers brushing his in passing, and gave a small nod of appreciation.
"Thanks," Ana added, already twisting the cap off the bottle. She took a drink, then glanced up at him, the faintest hint of dry amusement in her eyes. "You always offer breakfast after ambushes and cave camping, or am I just lucky?"
