SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Mando'a Runic Inscription: Carved with utter care using a blend of bes'manda and Ijaat's own blood, the Mando'a on this hammer speak of both ruination and reinforcement, each on opposite sides of the non-grip part of the hammer haft. Serving as a focal point for both Ijaat's use of Shatterpoint and his use of various Force crafting traditions he has learned. This enables him to break and shatter materials by focusing his Force power through the hammer, though the stronger the material is the heavier the hammer will become in the swing, and it may take more than one swing to exploit the physical shatterpoint and destroy or disable the object in question, and the same goes for reinforcing or repairing things with the opposite inscription of Mando'a. As is appropriate.

Note: Without OOC permission of the intended target/opponent, items cannot be fully destroyed or rendered useless or such, and even with are considered rendered useless only for as long as said opposite writer wishes.

  • Power Hammer: Even without the inscription, the weapon is not totally useless, and can be utilized as a power-hammer inside a Force Nullification Field, even if an exceptionally heavy example of such a weapon.

  • Combustion Crystal: With a crystal of kyber purified from bes'manda, the Bes'nynir enhances and grants the user an Apex level of Combustion for Force Powers. If a user has no native skill in it, they operate at the level of a Knight using said skill, and if they are already skilled in it they are able to function as a Master or Apex level user of the ability.

  • Force Generation: By studding the piece with kasha crystal and kyber crystal both, the hammer has been attuned to produce a conduit to the living Force. This confers no combat or such abilities, but is able to help empower any creations or repairs done outside of combat to a cut above what the wider might normally be capable of.

  • Unshakeable Grip: With the merging of some Nightsister and Dathomiri Witch spells, when held by the proper owner this weapon is nigh impossible to be separate from the wielder or otherwise be summoned to the grips of others with the Force or other means. It naturally wishes to serve it's creator.
WEAKNESSES
  • Heavy is the Head: As is appropriate for a smithing hammer turned weapon of war, and something forged of bes'manda in a solid piece, this weapon is heavy and weighty in the hand, and can be cumbersome indeed for those not used to such a thing.

  • Force-Nullification Field: Inside a Force-Nullification effect/field, the Bes'nynir loses any and all abilities granted by the Mando'a runic inscription described above.

  • Every Problem is a Nail: With the shape and general design, the Bes'nynir hammer is a solution suited to a blacksmith gone to war, with all the pitfalls using such a specialty hammer might include.

  • Perfectly Balanced: This hammer, being made of bes'manda for a specific purpose, is unable to be wielded by those too far into the Light or the Dark side of the Force without it's abilities mysteriously just ceasing to function.

  • Bonded: With the blood-magic of the Mando'a inscriptions being the impetus for many abilities and manifestations of this hammer, in the hands of anyone but Ijaat it is just a particularly heavy power-hammer.

DESCRIPTION

After declaring himself Manda'lor, Ijaat realized his new purpose required a new weapon. A symbol of both power, authority, and an expression of self. Sourcing a sizeable chunk of Bes'manda, he forged a solid hammer from the singular piece. Fashioning it in the form of a smithing hammer that he knew so well as a goran Ijaat then added components of a power-hammer to it, enabling extra oomph and impact to it when needed, and engraved Mando'a runes for destruction and empowerment along the hammer haft, coating the engravings in his own blood, thus sealing a bond between himself and the now Force Imbued hammer, enabling it to focus his prowess at both Force Crafting in various traditions, or as the need may call to ease and focus his talent for Shatterpoint, both seeing the important decisions and the weak points in physical things, and exploit them for better or worse.
