Beskar Owed, Beskar Delivered: Ioren Mine

Gray had made an auction deal to supply a custom weapon made from beskar to win a set of armor belonging to one of the Mand'alor of old. They had asked for the beskar instead of the weapon, so that was what he was going to get them. He made sure to keep good on his word with others because it wouldn't be worth anything otherwise. He had made some arrangements to secure a small supply of beskar for the payment owed, and luck would have it that he knew a good place to secure some: Clan Ioren's Beskar Mine. He had visited the place before and knew the Alor of Clan Ioren, Adi'vak, so it had thankfully gotten set up easy enough. All he had to do was meet with the representative who was going to handle the sale.

Gray sat on the train leading down towards the cavern deep beneath the surface that housed Clan Ioren. Their mine was further below their home, but he didn't need to make that trip this time around thankfully. The Blood Trenches were not a fun place the first time, and he wasn't exactly wanting to visit them a second time so soon. He had to bring his wife, [member="Stardust Raxis"] , along with him as well. She had taken it as her duty to be her husband's shadow ever since he lost his hand and since that hellfire that was Castameer. He was glad for that even if he still believed it was not needed at all. He turned to her and said, " So Beautiful. Ready to go down into Junction again? While I handle the transaction you can browse Alor Ioren's shop. I remember how much you liked the sight of his work last time." The man did good, solid work with beskar too.

She looked out of the train watching the rock pass by wind blowing in her face as she blinked, her hand was idly tracing her scar she had in her side from the battle at castameer, she tried not to think back to that as that was one of the worst battles she had seen in so lomg, she perked up as she looked to gray and gave a smile" oh yeah I gotta say it is quote beautiful down there and I enjoy looking around the shop at the many things within it as you said" she said as she stretched out and sighed"

Gray just watched his wife as she sat in the chair across from him. She had had it rough during Castameer and the scars of it were still bothering her. He knew that, but there was little he could do for her other than be there when she needed it. He patted her leg after she spoke and smiled to her warmly. He could tell he had roused her from her thoughts when he spoke and she had replied out of habit and politeness more than anything. He said back, " Sorry I can't make this trip more interesting or involved for you Beautiful. It is just a simple pick up and payment for some beskar. Not much more I can add to it without things getting ridiculous. Who knows, maybe you can find a shipment yourself and ask for them to forge something for you? You never know right?" He left it there as he just kept smiling to her. He was trying but there really wasn't much more he could do on this trip to involve her since it was such a simple, easy task they were here for.

The train driver announced they were approaching Junction and warned once more to be careful not to stick their limbs out of the train. The man didn't want them to lose a hand to rock sticking out of the wall, which was kind of ironic seeing how Gray's right hand and both of Star's arms were cybernetic. He chuckled a bit about that but was glad to hear they had almost arrived. The city was beautiful even if a little odd, and still so foreign to him. A spacer born and raised was never use to the idea of a city and permanent home, and it was even more so when you put that place under the ground.

Was she in deep thought before, sometimes she couldn't tell when she slipped to it, the battle had worn on her mind and opened scars that shouldn't be opened at all"I k own dear but I do enjoy coming down here last time was interesting and I even saw a species I hadn't met before, not to mention seeing a city underground all the forged tools and such" she said as she brought her arm in and smiled as she watched them start to arrive. Stardust had lived on a planet most her life and on a ship however reliving underground seemed odd yet a Interesting way of life

It seemed that they were about to arrive at Junction, because the conductor announced that fact. Gray was thinking about responding to his wife but wasn't allowed to thanks to that announcement. Instead he squeezed her leg and gave her a smile as the train came into the cavern Junction was located in. The train could be felt slowing down so that it could smoothly stop at the station. The whole city was still as unusual as it came into view as it was the first time. Gray still wasn't sure why Clan Ioren chose to live in such a large cavern deep below was beyond him, but it was always an interesting idea to him. As the train came to a full stop and the doors opened up so they could exit, Gray stood up and got off. It was time to go meet up with the person who was selling the beskar to him.

It didn't take them too long to get to a local tavern. The place seemed to mostly cater to the local Clan Ioren members, so Gray was met with a few looks before everything went back to normal. Seemed a few had remembered seeing him here before when he had come down with their Alor, so their suspicion was lessened. Gray spoke to the bartender a bit as he ordered a drink for himself and [member="Stardust Raxis"] then headed for a table they could sit at. He got comfortable and said to Star with a smile, " Alright, the bar tender will direct the person with our stuff to this table so now all we need to do is wait. I ordered you a glass of red wine. Not sure what kind it is though, so sorry about that. Care to stick it out with me or would you rather go shop around Adi'vak's place?" He just waited for her answer as he sat there. Today was going well so far.

She gave a smile feeling his squeeze as she felt the train slowly come to a stop, she exited first having to duck out of the train and turned as she waited then walked beside her husband, she had to admit the walk was quite calming, given the location was underground and all

When they arrived at the bar she caught the looks and offered a smile before she followed gray and sat down" red wine is good in sure it's on planet winew so must be good even if a little, also I think I'll be staying with you if you don't mind I rather drink a little and be with you

Gray just smiled to his wife after she finished telling him she was going to stay instead of go off shopping. That didn't surprise him so much because lately she had not left his side for hardly any reason. He knew why she was doing it as well, but he couldn't help feeling it wasn't the best thing for either of them. They were still individuals who needed their own time and space after all, even if they both loved each others company. He patted her leg as their drinks arrived. He picked up his whiskey glass as he said, " Then we wait for the arrival of the one selling us the ingots by doing whatever we feel like. I suggest flirting and drinking as usual. What about you?" He gave her a wink before he began to take his first drink.

After almost twenty minutes, a man dressed up in clothing typical of a modern miner walked in. They seemed to have put on fresh clothing and cleaned themselves up as much as one could be with a few quick splashes of water. The man walked up to the counter and spoke with the barkeep before heading over to the table that Gray and [member="Stardust Raxis"] were sitting at. As the man came up, he said, " You tha buyer? Gray somethang or uddar?" The man sat down next to Star and openly ogled her body with a lecherous gaze. He added as he did, " Nice butt darlin'. Ya tak credits or ya mar inta favors?" He got a squeeze of her rear as he finished speaking. This wasn't going to end well.

She knew maybe it wasn't good...but it was just instinctive, after all that happened she just....didn't notice if she did she would dismiss it quickly"drinking and flirting ? So a normal day huh " she said as she laughed and took a drink savoring the taste

Twenty minutes of drinking and talking she spotted another man entering, she watched him approaching as shearly moved over seeing him sit by her, she glared at hin and jumped as her westar was out and under his chin" I'd keep your hands off another man's woman, it's bad taste" she said"

Gray was about to make a move to address the man's completely inappropriate behavior, but his wife had beat him to it. The man had pulled both of his hands up above his head and was looking around for some help from some of the other people in the place, but was met with everyone doing their best to avoid his gaze or giving him a "you did this to yourself" look. As he turned his attention back to the couple at the table, Gray said in a stern voice as he held his glass of whiskey with half a drink left in it, " I was thinking about being fair with you, but now I think you owe us double the stuff for the same cost. Consider it incentive for my wife here not to splatter your brains all over the nice clean floor. If you understand nod once." He drank the last bit of whiskey as the man nervously nodded once after a moment of thought. Gray set his glass down onto the counter with a loud clink then said, " Good, now I expect the metal to be loaded into a crate with a repulsarlift at the train out of Junction in ten minutes. All of it, or all of you won't be heading home tonight. Now go." He waved for the man to leave and hoped his wife got the message as well to let the man leave.

Gray had made sure to pay for their drinks and apologize for the commotion to the barkeep before he headed back to the train station with [member="Stardust Raxis"] . They arrived ten minutes after their meeting on the dot to find the guy with a crate waiting for them. Gray went about inspecting it over to make sure everything was there and no explosives or trap had been set for them. It was clean and so as he turned his attention back to the man he smiled. He said to the man as he touched the activation for the repulsarlift, " Everything seems in order here. I will have the credits for this transaction sent over right away....to your alor. You can get your pay from Adi'vak as well as explain for yourself your own misbehavior then, because I will be sure he hears all about it Alor to Alor." As he finished, he just went straight for the train leaving the man no room to reply. He was ready to get his portion of the beskar to [member="Miss Blonde"] who he owed it to. He said as he got on board the train, " Well Beautiful, looks like we got you some beskar to have fun with. Guess you got something out of this trip after all."

She stayed silent, a glare in her eyes as she kept the blaster under the man's chin" she nodded and let her blaster twirl and go down into its holster

She went with gray as she looked around the area hand ready on her blaster just in case the man decided to double cross them, she looked over the crates as she smiled and started to push them as she loads then into the train " hahahah I have so much I don't know what to do with it dear
