BIOGRAPHY:
Born 425 years ago to two members of the Garett clan, Bendak rose quickly through the mandalorian ranks, worming his way into ship commanding by the age of twenty. He continued to command hard-hitting, fast corevtte type ships until 'the incident'. Approximately 390 years ago, the remnants of the Republic attacked Mandalor in an attempt to secure a safe world. The Mandalorian defense fleet (which was composed of all the remaining ships under Mandalorian control) fought bravely, but were destroyed. Bendak's ship, however, survived. As his ship jumped to hyperspace, a stray turbolaser shot hit it directly, causing a short circuit of the warp drive. The ship to not only warped, but jumped randomly into the future. It arrived in present day Taris orbit.
From there, he rejoined the Mandalorians.
