STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Ben has been in training as a Jedi since he was born, being born into the Jedi Order, he has been a Jedi for his entire life. He has vast knowledge of the Jedi and his skills include being an excellent healer, a master swordsman, and has great knowledge of the force. His body has been trained for fighting, and it shows, he is noticeably physically fit. He is also a great negotiator and has no problem with public speaking or with trying to sway someone out of battle. Sometimes his belief that everyone has good in them, even the darkest of Sith, can sometimes get him into trouble and is borderline foolish. He will believe in even the worst individuals to try and prove that, no matter how far someone falls, they can be brought right back up. His heart is ultimately his biggest weakness seeing as taking another life, unless he absolutely has to, is something he has always struggled with. He also has a problem believing in himself which can be traced back to him believing in others so much. Though there is nothing he would not do for someone, his inability to fully believe in himself will always hold him back. Ben is a Master of the lightsaber style, Form III, Soresu. Years of practice have made him virtually unpenetrable in lightsaber combat, one on one. His connection with the force, battle meditation, combined with his intense sense of calm, and his years of training, Ben has become one of the greatest defensive fighters currently alive.

BIOGRAPHY:
Born on Coruscant to Jedi Master Christian Watts and Senator Freealia Sarowski, Ben was born into a scandal. Christian Watts defied the Jedi Order and fathered a son with a well known and respected Senator and the council was obviously unpleased. With the state of the Jedi already near shambles having one of their most respected Jedi blatantly disobey the code did not look good on the Jedi. This cause a lot of tension between both Christian and Freealia whose reputations both took a huge hit.

Freealia, while not technically forbidden from having relations with a Jedi, was looked down on simply because it was seen as taboo to be with a Jedi. Christian knew that the relationship need not take off, but he continued anyways. With her stock as a Senator quickly plummeting, Freealia cut off contact with Christian and sent him into a deep depression. Now an outcast, and losing his position as a Jedi Council member, Christian quickly resented his son Ben from the start.

Being born to a Jedi, Ben was quickly picked up by the Jedi who were already low on members. By this point the Jedi were so spread out through the galaxy trying to fight the after effects of the plague that they would take almost anyone to be within their ranks. From birth he was trained to be a Jedi, and unlike other Jedi, he had a headstart by having family member within the Order. This was a rare occurance and it was often a stigma to Ben throughout his life.

His early years were plagued by a resentful father who had turned to alcohol. Though Christian tinkered with the dark side of the force, mostly with his emotions, he never strayed to far from the path. He was a renowned healer and the Jedi could not afford to exile him. His dealings with alcohol did have an effect on his life but he never let it get in the way of him being a Jedi, but on the other hand, his relationship with his son never took off. This was not to say he did not love his son, because he did, but he had a hard time expressing it because every time he looked in Ben's direction he remembered Freealia.

Ben did not know his mother at all growing up. He knew who she was and they met a few times but his training as a Jedi cut into the time with his family. He was trained like all other Jedi and the only time he even saw his father was at the temple or during training. Despite his fathers resentment, Ben always looked up to Christian, and dreamed of being his padawan one day. His goal in life was to make his father proud and to forget that Ben was the reason his fathers relationship had ended. He always blamed himself for his fathers unhappiness and could never understand why his father just could not love him.

Because of the constant need to please his father, Ben excelled as a youngling, especially when it came to healing. He figured if he could become an even better healer than his father that it would garner praise from Christian. But healing was not his only strength, he also found a love for lightsaber combat at a very early age. He remembers, vividly, the first time he saw a lightsaber in person. The grand master at the time was giving a demonstration of the tool most commonly used by the Jedi and Ben fell in love with the weapon right away.

When he was given his first training saber, Ben spent countless hours practicing with it. When he was not training, studying, or meditating, he was in the training area with the blade practicing the basic maneuvers, zones, rings of defense, and the typical stances of a Jedi. By age 6 he was already a practitioner of form I, which was usually not studied until the age of 8. Because of his healing prowess and nack for a lightsaber, tensions grew high between himself and the other younglings. They thought he was receiving special treatment because his father was a Jedi Master. Because of this, Ben did not easilly fit in with the other Jedi, and he did not develop socially as a result.

Instead of making friends and relying on other people, Ben realized that the only person he could count on, was himself. He took seriously to the idea of pleasing his father and relationships took a back seat to training. He would skip lunch and free time to train harder and would often exhaust himself to the point of passing out. Despite constant warnings from the Masters of the Order that he should not push himself to far, Ben never listened, and by the age of 8 years old he was already a skilled swordsman, knew all of the basic force powers, and even volunteered in the Med Centers to practice his healing skills.

When his time came around to take the Jedi trials, he was more than ready, and he had never been more excited in his life. He was the youngest person to take the trials, only eight years old, and the animosity from some of the other Jedi was noticeable. None the less his determination blocked out any jealousy he might have had and he passed the trials with flying colors, surpassing everyone who took the trials with him. Now the part came where he thought he was going to be trained by his father.

When the day came for the Knights and Masters to pick up their padawans, his father was nowhere to be seen, and it became clear he was not going to be trained by him. None the less, he was picked up by a young Jedi Knight who had high hopes for Ben, but Ben was not satisfied with his Master. He wanted someone who was deserving to have a Padawan of his caliber.

Krahno was a Cathar who had different ideals than Ben did. Ben believed that not all Jedi were equal, and some were more important than others, and that was why the entire rank infastructure even existed. Krahno believed that the Jedi were one single entity and that the labels were there, not to show who was better, but so that there could be some semblence of order. Though they disagreed strongly at first, Khrahno proved himself to Ben over the years as a proficient Jedi and excellent Master.

Their friendship formed and they quickly became a well known and respected combination of Jedi. Krahno was level headed and often kept Ben out of trouble, who proved to be rash in his decision making, and quick to battle. Ben's constant need to prove himself to his father was evident and Krahno became the one person he could vent to when he needed it. Their friendship evolved from a Master/Padawan relationship to more of an older brother little brother type.

Through the years they went on many missions together, quickly proving themselves, and becoming the Council's first choice for some of the more skilled tasks. Their battle prowess and ability to escape certain death was well known and they became known as the Jedi Order's Front Line. Whenever there was a war to be fought, a search and rescue mission, or even diplomatic, they were there. The Sith became so sick of their meddlings that they were personally targeted by the Dark Lord of the Sith himself. This was the closest the both of them had ever come to death and they escaped with their lives only because the Jedi Order rescued them just in time.

Through the years, due to his trust in Krahno, he became much more level headed and had a much better understanding of the Jedi and their code. His brash nature in battle toned down, his views all changed, and he became a much more calm and collected Jedi. Ultimately this was better for Ben and his father issues seemed to take a back seat to his duties as a Jedi. He realized that the cause was much bigger than him and that no one Jedi could change anything in the galaxy by themselves.

Finally the time came when Ben was promoted to Jedi Knight at the young age of twenty two. Though he was young, he had proven himself multiples times as a strong leader and was fearless on the battlefield, and the Jedi Council had full faith in him. His path was light with the darkside and seemingly nothing could bring him down. "He will become a Jedi Counciler, yet."

As the years went on his friendship with Krahno did not faulter. He was now a Jedi Master and the both of them still worked together on missions. None the less they were not together as much as they used to be because Krahno was given more diplomatic missions and Ben was having to begin preparing to train a Jedi Padawan of his own.

He took a liking to a young man named Utika who was a young boy who came to the Jedi Order relatively late in his life at the age of seven. He was hot headed and was constantly trying to prove himself, which Ben could relate to, which lead him to the decision to take him on as a Padawan. The two of them hit it off, but his hot headedness surpassed even Ben in his prime, so he had a lot of work cut out for him.

It was around the time Ben was twenty-four that the plague really started to hit the galaxy hard. Jedi were dying, a lot, and Ben began to fear for the future of the Jedi. None the less, he continued his duties, and tried to push the fears to the back of his head. Fear was weakness, fear was dark, and fear lead to the darkside.

It was not until the Plague was in full force that Ben was called to Naboo to join a special task force designed to discover a cure for the Plague. His healing prowess proved beneficial in their search, but ultimately, they could not discover a cure no matter how hard they tried. Things were changing, and they were changing fast. No longer did the Jedi send anyone out to help other planets, because in doing so, it ensured they would be wiped out faster than normal.

All within a year Ben's life was turned upside down. More than half the Jedi Order had been wiped out due to the plague, and news spread to Ben that Krahno had succumbed to the illness. This hit Ben hard but it fueled him to work even harder. Depression set in quickly when he received word that Utika had succumbed to the dark side. This hit Ben harder than it probably should have but he blamed himself for not being there for Utika in his darkest times.

There were only a handful of Jedi left when he was promoted to Jedi Master at the young age of twenty-eight years old. He did not feel deserving of the title, but he did not take the rank for granted, and he swore to himself and to everyone around him that he would uphold it to the highest honor. It would ultimately be for naught because the Jedi were disbanded within a year of his promotion. Some died, others went to safety, most went into exile, but Ben remained. He was a sworn Jedi and only death would stop him from doing his duty.

Now, almost two years later, Ben is out to rebuild the Jedi. The Plague has seemingly vanished from the Galaxy and the trade routes were starting to open up again. Though he has an uphill battle ahead of him, he will not faulter, and he will do whatever it takes to bring the Jedi back to their former glory.

Seeking out Teferi Efreet, his old friend, the two began working towards getting the Jedi Order back on its feet. Slowly, but surely, the two began recruiting more and more Jedi until they finally had enough members to be called an actual Jedi Order. Establishing a base on Tython, the Galactic Republic was also in its rebuilding stage, and they sought out the Jedi for a mutual relationship. Teferi, chosen to be the Grandmaster, agreed to the treaty and merged the two factions.

As time wore on, the Jedi were now fully functional, with more and more members everyday. Ben could not have been happier, but when asked to take over the spot as Grandmaster, he was forced to decline. Tragedy struck again when he learned that his friend and partner, Teferi, had died at the hands of Darth Moridin. Ben mourned Teferi, but he could not for long, as they needed a new Grandmaster. Finding the perfect candidate, Darron Wraith stepped up, and the two began a blooming friendship.

The two men fought side by side many times, most notably on Cato Neiomodia and on Nexus, enough that they formed their own group of specialized Jedi called Adamant Company. Four members, two Masters and two Knights, the team was a first response team to huge events. Their first mission came on Cato Neiomodia, where they were tasked with taking over a Neiomodian ship that was harboring droids and criminals. The mission went off without a hitch with no injuries and no humanoid species dying.

The biggest threat came with Omni. A war summit was called and Ben was a member of the summit, along with Darron Wraith, where Sith Master Darth Apparatus revealed that he was "ascended" resulting in thousands of Omni ships dropping out of space and attacking them. In a close call, the Teferi escaped space, and made it back to Tython with a Sith Knight and Moff on board. When the Omni war reached its head, Adamant Company staged an attack on Coruscant against a giant World Destroyer.

Ben felt his first dosage of the love bug when he met Sky Kerberos. A clone of the powerful Sith Master, she was brought back by Darron, and she had trouble adjusting to the life of a Jedi thanks to nightmares of her past. A chance meeting brought the two together, and while hesitant at first to trust Ben, he eventually gained her trust and the two became close. After a late night meeting wherein Sky came to Ben with a nightmare, Ben realized he felt more for her than just being friends, essentially making him question his moral compass for the first time since he was young.
