  • 2x Artillary Class Laser cannons.
    Consuming what would be the allocated space of almost 10 capitol weapons a piece, 2 powerful laser cannons are mounted to the top of the Behemoth, giving the Frigate its ''horns.'' each of the laser cannons fire powerful long range focused streams of energy (much like a laser drill) which are powerful enough to rip through star-ships of their own size category with concentrated fire or dig deep trenches through the side of a hull. Each Of the beams are capable of firing for elongated periods of time not exceeding 10 seconds before requiring cool-down. Implementing the use of these weapons requires the cease-fire of all other energy weapons while they are being fired.

  • 20x Capitol Class Ion Cannon Batteries.
    Ten forward facing, Ion cannons are mounted along the ships 'wings' which supplement the Behemoths offensive capability. While the remaining ten are outfitted on rotating batteries mounted to the sides of the ship interchanging between the top and bottom, giving the Behemoth some manner of offensive capability at its sides. Naturally, as energy weapons, these Ion cannons cannot function while the Artillery class lasers are being fired.

  • 10x Diamond Boron missile tubes.
    The Concussion missile turrets are stationed along the top bow of the ship and are capable of raising on platforms and being retracted back into a portion of the ship's hangar area. The Behemoth, rather than being loaded with standard concussion missile technology, instead spends the extra credits in equipping itself with Diamond Boron Missiles, which are capable of resisting blaster fire from star-fighters and most point defense guns.

  • 4x Point Defence AG-2G Quad laser Cannons
    The point defense guns of the Behemoth come in the form of 4 AG-2G Quad Laser Cannons positioned strategically at the side most point of each wing, underneath of the ship, and overlooking the ships' bridge so to best defend the Behemoth against in-coming bombers and missile strikes.

  • Gravity Well Projector.
    Finally, complimenting the ship and to trap the ships it ambushes, the Behemoth is outfitted with a nose mounted gravity well projector to trap the victims it flanks, the projection width of the beam expands in a conical fashion at about a thirty five degree angle in front of the ship, meaning that several Behemoths stationed correctly would be more than able to trap larger forces from entering hyperspace or creating webs to intercept ships moving through hyperspace. .

Hangar:
  • Hangar Bay:
    The Behemoth is able to carry approximately 12 fighters and 2 freighters within its multi layered hanger bay. The hanger bay, unlike most ship hangers is two storied with a centered atrium where there is no dividing floor. While most hangars on ships have enough room to segment their hangars, few do so, allowing the Behemoth to better use each square meter of space it is allotted and put nothing to waste.

  • Escape Pods:
    The Behemoth comes equipped with an array of escape pods, each of them are equipped with a distress beacon and basic life support systems as well as three days rations and basic survival gear including an outfitted first aid kit as well as a breathing mask for hostile atmospheres. The pods are capable of planetary entry and can each fit approximately ten adults. The ship is outfitted with enough escape pods to jettison its maximum crew and passenger size.
Special Features:
  • Armour Strength:
    The Quadranium Alloy Armour of the ship is exceedingly strong, though it comes at the sacrifice of shield strength. The splicing of alusteel into the mix weakens the overall hull strength were it only made of Quadranium, but still making it strong enough to outclass basic hull armour materials like durasteel while still giving the ship the ability to have a high maneuverability and speed rating. The reliance on a stronger hull than a stronger shield stems from that ship shields can often be tracked due to their energy signatures, so the Behemoth, while cloaked, is more reliant on its armour which is strongest at its front and base while being more vulnerable at its back and sides.

  • Shield:
    A very basic deflector shield generator is installed into the Behemoth, lower quality than average but not useless. It is able to sustain some dedicated hits before becoming overpowered. Additionally, the shield is not able to remain active in tandem with the ships personal cloaking device, making the ship over-all less reliant on its shielding and more reliant on its above average armour.

  • Cloaking Device:
    The key selling point on this Frigate is its high grade cloaking device, capable of eluding common scanners as well as physical sight. The personal cloaking generator cannot be operated in tandem with the weapons and shielding of the Behemoth, meaning that the cloaking field needs to be dropped in order to open fire on a target. But simply having the high quality field enables the Behemoth to have incredible ambush capabilities combined with its gravity well generator. Though the cloaking is not perfect as scanners which are specially able to pick up and view magnetic signatures are capable of seeing the Behemoths position.

  • Long Range Encrypted Computer/ transmitter:
    A communications computer equipped with an encryption module enables hidden messages to be sent and decoded within the Behemoth at both short and long range. The computer also boasts an encrypted holonet connection as well as being connected to the hyperspace computer which also runs through its own series of encrypted processes in order to maintain the security of its stored information. Each encryption module for each ship is slightly different, much like a serial number wording its information slightly differently so to identify each ship by its information and to ensure that cracking one module, does not crack them all.

  • Targeting Array:
    A basic ship-class range-finder which is capable of predicting motion and trajectory, and calibrating weapons accordingly. The targetting array is used for radar locking missiles as well as the radar feed sent to the point defense guns to aid in their targeting.

  • Life Support:
    Stock Standard life support systems are installed internally within the Behemoth.

  • Scanner:
    A basic scanner capable of scanning using sound or various light spectrum.

  • Generator:
    A standard Hypermatter Drive powers the Behemoths' systems, giving it ample power for its weapon systems admirably, its power output is high enough that it can fulfill each of the ships independent functions, though it does not generate enough power to fire the ships artillery cannons as well as give combat strength to the ships other weapons without sacrificing necessary functions such as life support or shielding.

Maneuverability Rating: 6
The Behemoth employs strategically placed ion thrusters in combination with its own basic etheric rudder in order to change its directions at combat speeds or keep itself stabilized in rough situations. Dedicating power to certain directions allowing the Behemoth to bank, turn, roll and perform what few aeronautical feats that it can so that it can aim its forward payload when necessary and re-position itself on the fringes of combat..

Speed Rating: 5
The Behemoth is not built for speed, and is largely considered average when it comes to its ship class, balanced between speed, armour and shields with some give and take the Behemoth is able to perform admirably where some of the slower heavy frigates may not. Using its relatively quick thruster speeds in order to re-position itself at the fringes of combat and fire into a sortie.

Hyperdrive Class: 1.5
The Behemoth boasts an impressive hyper-drive to get from point A to point B, a modern, to date model which gives a positive performance and allows quick runs across the galaxy.

Description:
The Behemoth was built as a more well rounded assault frigate with stealth capability in mind with the theme of its design. Scientists of the Sith Assassins wanted to create a ship which complimented their fighters and larger ships, providing some cover while still focusing the main force of its offensive potential directly in front of it. The Philosophy of the weapon being that it would act like a lance within formations, powerful lasers which are able to hew through large supporting crafts blow per blow rather than engage in long, drawn-out firefights and skirmishes.

The minimum crew capacity of the ship to perform all of its functions sits at about the amount of 400 men, not including supplementary roles like security staff and others which are similar, though the maximum crew and passenger size of the ship sits somewhere firmly within the area of 1200 personnel.

Like the other ships in the assassins fleet, the magnetic signal of the ship is still not something that can be hidden from its stealth field generator, the Behemoth is also unable to prime its weapons and fire from stealth due to the power the stealth generator consumes... Even so, the stygium cloaking device still makes this vessel a valuable asset to the sith empire in terms of stealth missions, ambushes and hit and run strikes against their enemies. The weapons of the ship itself are largely offensive in nature, though, unlike the Ziz, it is not completely without any defensive capability, using well placed quad laser cannons it is able to defend itself against fast moving fighters and even attempt to intercept missiles.

The Missile output of the Behemoth is complimented by putting more resources into purchasing more potent arms, while not needing to change the focus or armament of the weapon entirely, as Diamond Boron Missiles use the same concussion missile tubes which other ships would employ, it sacrifices nothing for the more powerful arsenal in this respect. Coupled with the Gravity Well Projector, the Behemoth is a support ship of some of the highest calibur. Acting as both the net, and the spear when fishing for enemy ships.
