- Within it's range of effect, it tears apart matter at the cellular level, wreaking havoc on the bonds between molecules. It is specifically designed for tearing the hats off of fortifications and ripping apart anyone unfortunate enough to be in the line of fire.
Breakdown: Disruptors are specifically designed to break down matter by breaking down the bonds between molecules and compromising their structure. The Bunker Breaker is a very juiced up disruptor.
Very short range: To maximize the damage potential of the disruptor, the technicians at Balmorran limited the area of effect to a limited range. Within that scope, a target has very little chance of survival. Beyond that, though, they're probably safe! ...probably.
Limited Usage: Only about three shots per power supply, the drain that this weapon puts on rapidly depletes it.
Wicked Kickback: Without a means to keep the weapon stable, it could potentially be thrown backward from recoil. Even dug in, it rocks heavily, and could cause incredible damage to anything behind it.

The Bunker Breaker is a disruptor, but to simply call it a disruptor slights the sheer destructive potential of the weapon. Because it doesn't work in the same way as a blaster, it can even pack enough punch to rip apart Phrik.
