PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Heavy Repeating Blaster
  • Size: Very Large
  • Weight: Very Heavy
  • Ammunition Type: Power Cells
  • Ammunition Capacity: Large
  • Effective Range: Long Range
  • Rate of Fire: Extreme
  • Stopping Power: High
  • Recoil: High
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • The BAW-63 features a rotary-fire function that allows for extremely high rates of fire.
  • To mitigate recoil and weight, the BAW-63 features a built-in bipod that allows the blaster to be mounted as a stationary weapon.
  • The BAW-63 can be incorporated into starships and vehicle designs, to act as an anti-infantry emplacement.
  • Four cylindrical tubes of SACG-23S shock-absorbent gel around the barrel and core of the blaster cannon prevent the weapon from overheating, allowing for longer periods of sustained fire.
STRENGTHS
  • Mow 'Em Down: With an extremely high rate of fire, damage output and the ability to fire for long periods of sustained time, the BAW-63 is an extremely deadly weapon in capable hands. The rotary design of the blaster allows for an insane fire rate, and it gives the blaster the potential to mow down entire legions of foes or hammer through the toughest of armors. To increase accuracy and thus kill-time efficiency, the BAW-63 features a bipod that allows its users to essentially convert the rotary blaster into
  • Multirole: The range of roles that the BAW-63 can take on are quite versatile, from lending support as a repeating blaster to a vehicle-mounted anti-infantry weapon.
WEAKNESSES
  • Heavy Weapons Handling: For an infantry weapon, the BAW-63 is very heavy and features a sometimes unmanageable recoil. Soldiers that are not of an abnormally-strong species or that don't feature physical augmentation will find the blaster cannon difficult to transport, and in most situations will not be able to fire the weapon effectively without mounting it on a bipod mount.
DESCRIPTION
Roble Manufacturing's first iteration of a repeating blaster, the BAW-63 Heavy Rotary Blaster Cannon is designed to be a powerful anti-infantry weapon, to be fielded by armies in the midst of battle or to be mounted on ships and vehicles as an anti-infantry weapon. The BAW-63 is an extremely heavy and large weapon, more of a semi-portable stationary weapon than a true repeating blaster. The BAW-63 is able to fire at extreme speeds, for a long period of sustained and at a high damage output, which makes the blaster an extremely formidable weapon. The blaster cannon is designed to have the potential to mow down entire companies of enemy soldiers in seconds and to use concentrated fire to punch through the toughest of armors. However, the cannon is extremely heavy, and cannot be feasibly fired by standard infantry without being mounted with a bipod. In most circumstances, to do this efficiently and quickly it requires at least a two-person team and relegates the BAW-63 to more of a supporting-fire role in a fixed position compared to being able to be equipped by rushing soldiers. All in all, the BAW-63 is an extremely powerful weapon that will prove its worth on the battlefield many times over.

Changes Made: Production rating adjusted to 'minor,' and stopping power adjusted to 'high' to compensate.
