Battle of Charros IV: Republic vs. Empire [Ask]

With Further intelligence gathered by Jedi Master Gi Seirr indicating the presence of more droid factories present on the planet, Republic Forces have launched a full campaign against the Imperial controlled planet. The Jedi Council has tasked Master Gi Seirr with leading a task force consisting of four Jedi Knights, and an army of troopers, due to his superior knowledge regarding the matter. When Republic forces emerged from hyperspace they weren't prepared for the trap that had been placed before them. The Empire had been more than prepared for this invasions due to the past attack from Republic forces. They had orbital mines placed strategically, so that it would cause any transports to crash behind enemy lines. The task force was quickly surrounded by a massive droid army that were stationed on the planet. All Republic troopers were quickly routed, and slaughtered.

Master Gi Seirr sacrificed himself to provide a distraction so that the remaining four Jedi could retreat further into a large area of the planet where Republic Assault ships crash landed. While retreat was within action, Master Gi Seirr attempted to send out a distress call to any nearby Jedi, while he attempted to contact support he was quickly shot down. While the remaining Jedi are constantly being hunted down, it was within hope that the Master's distress call was received.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sochi was one of the remaining Jedi left of the task force sent to destroy the remaining droid factories. She was tired, fatigued; she had been running all day because her life depended on it. There was no way they would be able to take on the massive droid force that was after them. How could they have been so foolish to not see that this was a set up? She couldn't believe that Master Seirr was dead, that would affect her morale now. Though she greatly appreciated what he did for the sake of his fellow brothers and sisters. She would be forever grateful for that.

She was posted up behind a large plate of steel, she was taking a quick break before she set off again further into the massive wreckage. Her robes were torn, burned, singed. Her face had scuff marks from the dirt, and fire. Her red soaked skin had become slightly darker from the smoke that filled the air. She had small cuts and bruises all over her body. She peeked around the corner of the massive debris before she took off further into the maze that was the wreckage.

She came to a rather big opening where she slide up against a wall that was shrouded in darkness and shadow. She peeked through a small hole in the wall and could faintly see droids off into the distance. Not only had they been running from droids, but they were being pursued by Sith. A confrontation was inevitable. She only wondered where the others were, or if they were even still alive at this point. She took a deep breath and exhaled, as she had just a little more time to rest and catch her breath.

Diana ran through the wreckage of a Republic Assault ship as fast as she possibly could. She bounded over plates of steel, down turrets, and corpses like it was her job. Behind her legions of droids and soldiers quickly followed, surrounding the wreckage of the Assault Ship and quickly rounding up the last of the Jedi and probably trying to execute them.

There was a scowl on her face as she rushed through the assault ship, trying to get out of sight and hopefully out of mind.

She ran and ran until she saw movement within the wreckage, a small scrap of orange skin. She gripped her lightsabers tightly, holding them with a white knuckle grip. The small spikes stuck into her palm and Diana rounded the corner with Lightsaber ignited. She turned on a whisp, only to find a friendly face waiting for her.

“Sochi!” Diana called out nearly in tears of joy. The Jedi Master had thought she was the only one. She smiled at the girl and almost immediately flipped off her lightsaber.

Diana had found an ally, now there was hope.

Tracyn maneuvered his body, growling in pain. He was hurt, bad. Sith were surrounding him, and they thought he was dead. He was thrown (with great effort due to the weight of his Beskar'gam) into the pile, and was currently underneath a pile of his dead comrades. Jedi, trooper, engineers, anyone and everything was thrown into the pile. The assault ship was a hell for him, but a one he would survive. He sensed several Sith around him, troopers and marauders alike. Droids, too, by the sound. His lightsaber was at his side, not currently reachable.

The floor was wet with blood, charred skin, and sinew. He crawled through, like a rat. The Sith turned their heads to the moving bodies, and he heard the hiss of lightsabers. They were approaching, fast. Pressing his palms to the ground, Tracyn stood up after a while, and reached for his lightsaber. Cuts lined his face, the burns from before and the synthskin wearing off. He activated his lightsaber, narrowing his eyebrows. He turned to the Sith, and bounced the lightsaber hilt in his hands. Tracyn pivoted on his heel, and literally ripped the Sith in half, purely because the Sith was shocked at the sight he was beholding. Tracyn maneuvered himself through the Sith marauders, plowing through them like a freight train. The last one was the leader, something along those lines. Tracyn deactivated his lightsaber, and clipped it to his magnetic belt, and went after him. Catching the lightsaber in his right palm, he smiled and kicked him in the knee. The man bent over, his knee shattered and bent over. Tracyn wrapped both hands around his head, and brought his knee upwards towards his face, and jumped upwards slightly. He felt his neck break and every facial bone smash in the same instant.

Out of the corner of his eye, Tracyn spotted a sliver of orange skin and the fading plasma signature of a lightsaber. He moved quietly, like most Super Commandos did. He appeared like a ghost, wounded but standing near the two Jedi. He leaned on the wall, the sound announcing his presence."Sith will be looking for us. We have to move, now."He said, glancing between the two Jedi. It was now obvious, with the snythskin gone, how messed up Tracyn was. Cuts, bruises, broken noses, had transformed him from a blonde-haired handsome man into a brutish, nearly always scowling man. He didn't really smile or joke around as much, among other things. Tracyn leaned his forehead into his wrist, sighing deeply, trying to regain his composure."I'm glad to see you're both alive."He added, realizing how cross he was with his comrades.

Sith Objective: Find the Jedi survivors.

The speeder bike came to a stop at the edge of the cliff. Plumes of smoke dotted the area ahead, orange flames dotting the landscape as well, as bits and pieces of the Republic's ship that had broken off during the crash. Ayra climbed off the vessel and deactivated it's repulsor mechanisms that kept it hovering above the ground. It touched down onto it's landing clamps and the sound of it's engine died with it, leaving only the steady rhythm of her breathing, the gusts that are blowing around her and the rippling of her Sith robe, that rose up and down with the wind's currents.

A pair of gloved hands wrapped around a pair of binoculars, in which the Sith Marauder raised them to her golden eyes, as she searched for her prey. The Sith victory on Charros IV had been a good, but insignificant victory. The Republic had grown bold and believed that a single convoy could take the world, their belief in the Jedi Knights and Masters that led their crusade against the Sith Empire, misplaced. Ayra had personally supervised the execution of Jedi Master Gi Seirr in the Xi Charrian capital city. He had been taken in the Sith raid that she, Ayra, had also personally led into the downed Republic Star Destroyer that had carried the Jedi and their forces to the Charros system. If she had anything to do with it, then Gi Seirr and the band of men and women that had stood alongside him, so that Sochi Ru, Diana Moridena and Tracyn Ordo could escape and live to fight another day, would not be the last victims to the end barrel of her disruptor pistol or Lightsaber.

She finished scanning the region ahead, detecting the heat signatures of one of the missing Republic drop ships, that had crashed in this particular region of Charros IV, after the Sith anti air emplacements across the planet marked their spot. It was her belief that the Jedi who had survived, thanks to Gi Seirr's defiant last stand, would do everything in their power to find and locate other survivors. The drop ships that had been taken out in the first wave were the ideal place for the Jedi to begin their search; and for the Sith to begin their hunt. Turning back to her speeder, the Sith Marauder placed the binoculars back into the compartment that she had taken them from and activated the three droids that she had taken to accompany her for the trip. Activating the DRK-1 Dark Eye probe droid's, they lifted up and begun their reconnaissance of the area.

They were old, ancient technology, but much like the WESTAR M5 rifle that hung on the side of her speeder and the other technology that she utilized, Ayra stood by the saying: "Don't fix what isn't broken." The DRK-1's would find the survivors and emit their location back to Ayra via the console in her hand, from which she rested it up on the flat end of her speeder bike, so she could begin a kit check of the arsenal she had taken with her. One Lightsaber and Saberstaff, that hung from the utility belt around her waist. A disruptor pistol, breathing apparatus, steel pistol cord, fiber wire and combat knife were also found on her belt. Underneath her Sith robe, a plate of durasteel Armor that were placed across her front and back body, to the arms and legs, under which laid her black, combat uniform that she always wore. A strap of ammunition hung from her right shoulder to her left hip and a strap of grenades, ranging from flash, smoke, frag, explosive, cryofrost and incendiary hung from her left shoulder to her right hip. The Sith robe she wore concealed these things from her enemy, much like the holster that hung from her right ankle, concealed on the black combative trousers she wore. An secondary combat knife was found in the holster, for surprise attacks.

Lifting the WESTAR M5 rifle, from which the ammunition on her chest was for, she tied it's strap around her shoulders and neck, hanging it from them onto her stomach. She checked to see if the ear plugs, which were designed to shut out sound if the decibel of sound reached a level that would harm her, were still there. Other than this, she could hear normally. Eyes locked on the console, she waited for the DRK-1's results.

Things had not at all gone the way they had ben planned. The Republic had made the decision to take on the Imperial forces at Charros IV. Either that had been a very bold or a very foolish decision. Whichever it had been, it had resulted in deaths of hundreds of Republic troops. And unless the survivors, including Flint, didn't move quick enough, they were about to join the rising death toll.

Flint had heard the message to retreat back to the crash site of the Republic's Assault Ship. He had about half a dozen surviving Republic troops with him and the time in which he had began leading his group to the crash location of the Republic ship. Several squadrons of Imperial forces had chased after them. Now, no other survivor remained with Flint by the time he reached the location. He snuck past the Imperials that were digging up the crashed ship for survivors, and carefully slid inside a relatively closed-off section of a small cave that had formed out of the ship's collapsed duracrete. He had no idea where the other Jedi were, or if they had even survived.

The Jedi Knight's robes were severly torn, revealing his light brown tunic beneath. Flint closed his eyes as he leaned against the wall of duracrete, asking himself if the day could get any worse. Apparently fate took it as a challenge. When the Jedi reopened his eyes, he found himself looking at a black probe droid that was gazing right at him, which after a second of gazing right at him, flew off to possibly report its findings to its owner. ( @[member="Ayra"] ) This was not good.

| @[member="Flint Dexen"] |

The console bleeped and a live feed came into view on the screen, as the DRK-1 that had found the Jedi Knight began to transmit what it saw to the Sith Marauder. Her gloved hand pressed the button on the console to instruct the DRK-1 to move on and continue looking for other survivors in the vicinity. As the black droid in front of Flint Dexen stopped it's broadcast and floated away, Ayra packed the console into the compartment in her speeder and climbed back onto the seat. Before she took off, she opened another compartment inside and loaded a frag grenade into the WESTAR M5's grenade launcher. She didn't want to use the grenades that were strapped her chest yet, as she wouldn't have a chance to replace them with new ones until after her encounter with the Jedi Knight.

Turning the WESTAR M5's strap around her neck, so the rifle hung behind her, resting on her back, she leaned forward and activated the repulsor, so she could take off. The land clamps on the speed retracted back inside of it as the vessel began to hover and she took over towards the location that the DRK-1 had indicated, the coordinates and position memorised from the console before hand.

The sound of her engine was clearly heard by the Jedi Knight, so he might of had time to prepare himself, as she sped down the hill, dropped above the ground and came back up again as she sped across the grassy plain towards the crash site that Flint found himself in. She primed the two rotary cannons at the front of the speed and opened fire ahead, aiming for where she thought the Jedi Knight was. She was without honor and didn't care for a fair fight. Whether it was the cannons of her bike, the barrel of her WESTAR M5 blaster rifle or disruptor pistol, the end of her crimson Lightsaber or Saberstaff or the gutting of her combat knives, Ayra did not care how Flint died. Close quarters or long range, whatever was effective at making sure the Jedi died and died quickly, so she could move onto the next survivor and the next. Her golden eyes gleamed out from afar, as the ends of her blonde hair, strapped into a pony tail at the back of her hair so that it did not get in her way rose up around her. She was a predator and he was her prey. He would soon learn that simply by staring into her retinas, which were predatory like in her stare.

Talon approached the crashed ship in his custom armor with his blaster rifle in hand. The team of droid troopers he been assigned were not his first choice to say the least but they were "more expendable than regular troopers", whatever that meant. He stopped his 'team' near the edge of the debris field and ordered them to form ranks before advancing. He was here to find the Jedi survivors and if the droids were spaced properly and moved quickly enough the Jedi would be flushed out, one way or another. Talon lead the advance lowering his rifle and slinging it across his back. His lightsaber leapt from his gauntlet to his hand as he advanced with the droid company. He didn't ignite the blade there was no point yet, but many would have.

He moved to a point where he had to make a choice on how to continue. It was a maze of wreckage and upturned ground. Smoke and dust still hung in the air and the Jedi were a crafty lot and by now they would be feeling 'pressured'. Talon drew in his force presence and tried to conceal himself from their, no doubt keen senses before dividing his forces. Some he posted at possible choke points while others he sent into the maze to search for the unknown number of survivors.

Talon himself picked a direction at random and began moving as quickly as he could through the carnage. The force moved events always balancing and counter balancing, he knew this, and soon he would no doubt run into the Jedi. It was destiny for them to clash the force would see to that. Talon moved with his usual agility, his grey armor serving to both protect him from the dust and smoke and provide moderate camouflage in this case.

He was about to comm the other Sith for reports when he saw something cross his path ahead. it was moving quickly and he didn't see it clearly but it had to be the Jedi. Droids were too slow and Sith would have been looking around the debris more carefully. Talon quickened his pace and moved in the direction of the suspected Jedi. He heart raced and his mind ran through various scenarios. He was one of the few Niman practitioners among the Sith but he doubted he could face more than two Jedi for long and he would not likely survive. His skill with Soresu would help but he was still not skilled enough to face more than two. He would just have to improvise if or when the time came.

Her eyes grew wide, and she instantly stood straight up to find that their had been a lightsaber ignited just inches from her face. When she couldn't believe she was found, and had let her guard down to the point where she was easily caught up she saw the wielder of the blade. It was indeed Master Diana. Oh a sigh of relief came across them both almost simultaneously. She was content with the fact that she was no longer alone.

"By the force! Diana!? I'm happy to see that your alive. I thought I was the only one left." She said softly, her heart was beating fast from the surprise. She looked down, and shook her head. She now leaned back once more against the wrecked wall.

Before she could say what was next, she quickly turned only see that Tracyn was alive, and within their presence as well. She slowly began to form a smile; that was tiring in itself. Then he announced that they needed to keep moving, though it seemed like the most viable option, how could they?

"This entire ship wreckage is surrounded by Imperial forces, there doesn't seem like there's much place to go..." She folded her arms, placing them in her sleeves. She turned her head to look off in another direction. "Never have been this out maneuvered by the Empire, there strategy is without flaw." She said softly. She knew that confrontation was coming. There was now three of them, there was still hope. At least that's what she wanted to believe. As she looked off she saw smoke from the fires that were many. Pieces of metal falling, and crashing into one another.

The moment the droid flew off to report to its owner, no doubt, Flint moved into action. His only objective for the moment was to survive. However that was to be done was still in question. Flint knew things were about to get even worse when he heard a sound of a speeder becoming louder and louder.

He debated whether to run and hide, or to confront whoever was trying to kill him. Flint decided that he would face his aggressors, he was not afraid to take them head-on. Walking out of his duracrete cover, Flint immediately spotted the speeder headed right towards him. It had two rotary canons, which just he spotted it, began firing away. Flint cursed as the cover that he had been hiding behind seconds ago was destroyed by the speeder's canons.

The Jedi Knight then called on the Force. Flint reached out using telekinesis, grabbed a load of duracrete debris, and threw it right at the incoming speeder. He activated his lightsaber as the slabs of duracrete sailed through the air right at the speeder. Flint was tired, but he was ready to fight for survival.

Diana frowned slightly as she tried to assess the situation. Sochi and Tracyn were here in the ship. The wreckage was of a Unity class Assault ship that carried many smaller vessels. They were surrounded by an army of Sith Soldiers, and likely a few Sith Knights and maybe even Masters. Things quite honestly looked beyond grim.

And yet, Diana was a Jedi Master, Sochi was a Knight, and Tracyn was a Knight. They had enough skill and strength here to take on a small army. If they could cut a path through the Sith...they had a chance. Diana frowned slightly, she herself was mostly unharmed. The Crash had been quite easy on her and the few engagements she had had since then had been mostly one sided towards her, the others however...

“How are you guys doing?” She looked from Sochi then to Tracyn “Injury wise I mean.”

Diana was no healer, if one of them was seriously injured...it would be a problem. They had to fight their way out, it was the only solution.

Aronis stood on a cliff a ways off from the wreckage. His lightsaber hung at his belt on the right side and he wore his olive green cloak. His speeder was parked a few feet away. He scanned the wreckage with electro binoculars, searching for any signs of the remaining jedi.

Talon stood behind some rubble and looked around the edge of his cover. He didn't know if he hoped to see multiple targets or not, but that didn't matter because there 50 meters away were two very Jedi looking persons and one armored dork (Mandalorian. Fabula would get it.).

Talon weighed his options and activated his helmet's internal commlink.

"This is IC-1128, Knight Vosra." He subvocalized, "I have three contacts. Lock on to my position and converge."

Talon steeled himself and stepped out into the open. His grey and white armor were not standard Sith issue but he liked it that way. He began walking forward very slowly.

"I think you should keep moving." He said calmly in an almost kind voice, "there are Sith everywhere."

Tracyn snapped his head towards Talon, growling like a wolf. He slipped his lightsaber into his hand, activating the blade. He turned to Diana, Sochi, and any of the others that were with him. His presence seemed to take on a doom-on-you aura, not unlike a grim reaper standing before Talon. Tracyn had bumps and bruises, but by no means was incredibly hindered in his ability to fight, that much was obvious by the dead Sith he left behind in his wake to come to the aid of his friends and fellow Jedi. He glared at Talon, a glare that wasn't hateful, or angry. Tracyn, for the first time in a while, prepared to fight with a clean mind, untouched by hatred or rage like he had entered battle before. This itself was a near milestone for Tracyn in the past few years, thanks to an increasing amount of issues that had plagued the man from the get-go.

Nevertheless, he had a Sith to fight and wounded Jedi to protect. Turning his head halfway to meet their eyes, but not to take his off the Sith that was about to meet his unholy heretic maker (thank you, Master Diana for giving him a proper word to describe his disdain for the Sith in a semi-comical manner)."I cut a hole in the Sith line, they're going to be looking at the bodies and for me here soon. Double back and get into the woodline. I'll catch up with you all in a moment."Tracyn turned back to the Sith, and his crushgaunt equipped fingers riddled along his hilt, staring down the Sith before him once more, fully. He now had his full attention, minus his awareness of the battle around them, at least. But, Tracyn decided to be fair.

"You get one chance, to leave, or turn on the last bright bulb you got in that skull and come join us. Now, tell me, do you really wanna fight me, or do you wanna walk away with all of your limbs and maybe your head?"Tracyn said, rather calmly. It was...odd. But pleasing. Awkward, would be a good word to put it. It wasn't like the Sith's sarcastic tones of kindness, it almost sounded genuine. Like Tracyn was actually wanting him to be a nice guy and not have to carve him up into little bit-size-fit-in-your-lunchbox pieces. Weird.

Ayra aimed the rotary cannons to the incoming pieces of debris that Flint had utilized as his form of counter attack. Turbolaser bolts met a few of them, but one got past her barrage and hit the repulsor that had kept the vehicle air borne. The Sith Marauder activating the landing gear before diving off the bike and tucked her body into a barrel roll. Rolling over her shoulders and bringing her legs back up, she raised her WESTAR M5 blaster rifle as her speed collapsed, rolled over and came to a stop a meter away from where she had landed in a heap.

Aiming her scope towards the Lightsaber that flashed ahead, she fired the flash grenade inside her WESTAR M5's grenade launcher towards Flint Dexen. Kneeling onto one knee as the grenade sailed overhead towards the Jedi Knight, she inserted a smoke grenade into the launcher before rising the weapon back up. She closed her eyes briefly as the light erupted in front of her, so that she was not blinded by it's flash; and the decibels of it's explosion were blocked by the ear plugs inserted in her ears. She opened her eyes just as the decibels around her returned to a level from which the ear plugs deactivated, allowing sound to come back to her. Ayra scanned the area ahead for Flint, so she could get her shot.

She began to cough, due to her inhaling some of the smoke that was present throughout the wreckage. She turned back towards the others. She wasn't injured to the point where she was able, she had ver minor wounds that were on the surface of her skin. The crash had to have been just slightly easy on her. It was probably the run ins she had since then that took more of a toll on her. If anything she was glad she wasn't the only one left. Atleast now she could see that if they all worked together they could possibly survive this ordeal; though the odds were stacked against them. Not that she would admit that to herself or the others.

She looked to Diana, "Im fine, no major wounds here. Just some small cuts and bruises from the crash but nothing that's going to bring me down anytime soon." She responded softly.

Then the presence of another had overwhelmed the area. Possibly due to the sith being in rather good condition, compared to the survivors. She quickly stood up, and took acouple of steps closer so that she was aligned with the others. He seemed to be joined by a small group of droids. She squinted her eyes slowly as she layer her vision upon them. Then her attention turned to Tracyn who began to describe that he cut a opening in the sith line. Before he could even finish she knew where he was going with it. Sochi wasn't prepared to leave another comrade behind, that was not the Jedi way. She looked over to Diana, her eyes wide open. Then she turned back to Tracyn.

"Tracyn, were not going to leave you here. We have to stick together." She said in a more concerned tone. She wasn't questioning Tracyns strength, but in a extremely serious situation such as this, and in their current condition, they needed one another. At least that's what she thought, they would easily survive in groups.

Diana nodded to Sochi as the young girl answered her, it seemed that she and Tracyn were both alright, something that she thanked the force for. She frowned slightly when the Mandalorian Jedi noticed a Sith come to them and she raised an eyebrow in annoyance at the Sith. He faced down Three Jedi with an army at his back, that was not confidence, it was foolishness. The Jedi could have beat the Sith easily, heck Diana could have done it on her own.

But as soon as they engaged in the fight they would be surrounded and likely shot by the Sith still outside of the wreckage. They were on the ground floor of the ship, easily found and easily exposed, it was a poor place to defend.

“You forget Tracyn.” Diana said as she stood back up to her full height and stepped behind the other Jedi, neither of her lightsabers drawn. “I outrank you.”

Suddenly Diana built up a massive wall of the force, she grabbed onto the ceiling directly between the group of Jedi and the newly arrived Sith, and then she tore at it. She ripped into the durasteel frame, bending and breaking it, tearing it down onto the ground and separating herself, Tracyn, and Sochi from the Sith.

As soon as the ceiling was brought down she stood panting for a second, leaning against the wall. “It would be folly to fight here. They can easily surround us and catch us unaware. We need to get deeper into the cruiser.”

A scowl formed on her face as she realized the odds. She would not throw away their lives to carelessly, they would get to the port hangars, deep within the ship and higher above the ground. The Sith would be far more compact and manageable there.

“Do not be so eager to throw your life away.” Diana said to Tracyn as she turned about and began to walk deeper into the wreckage, signaling to the other two Jedi to follow.

Talon was not surprised to see the Big Mandalorian step forward first and he had to admit the thought of joining them was tantalizing. His father had praised the Jedi and when Talon left home it was to go to the Jedi Temple and ask to be trained. However, things had worked out differently and that never came to be. The Mandalorian talked like a Mando, but through the force Talon could feel the purity of the three Jedi contrasted with that of his fellow Sith. What should he do? Did the Mandalorian Jedi really mean what he said? Or was the statement just a perfunctory thing that held no real weight? Talon simply didn't know. In fact, it seemed that books could have been written about nothing but what Talon didn't know.

Talon turned his head slightly as the some of the droids arrived at his back. Should he cut them down and let the Jedi run? Should he go with them and lead them through the wreckage to his ship? If he moved now they could be away from Charros IV in an hour or two at most. He could simply state they were his prisoners if they met trouble. Yes, it could work! Perhaps he could learn how it was that the former Jedi Grandmaster Ben Watts was able to manifest his serenity on Metalorn to such a degree that Talon had never stopped thinking about it.

Talon felt something he hadn't felt for a long time in that moment. A feeling he had thought dead in a war that had taken countless other things from him already. He wasn't entirely sure but he thought it was hope. He looked at the Togruta Female as she spoke and came to stand beside her compatriot. Talon then looked to the side slightly and saw only a few droids. He had no one to stand by his side, and if a Sith were there he would have to watch them as closely as he would any enemy. No, unlike the three Jedi he was alone, he had been alone, trained himself alone, and if he didn’t go with them he’d die, alone.

Talon lifted his chin to speak and accept the offer to help them, but as he lifted his chin the other woman who seemed a pillar among them stepped forward and called on the force. Her power was intense. The conviction in her voice and manner were instantly admirable. Talon lifted his left hand desperately to try and beg her to wait.

“No, Wait!.” He cried as the huge section of ship crashed down in front of him forming a barrier. “I can help.” The last was a mere whisper in the face of the durasteel mess that now lay in front of him.

Talon was full of a range of emotions all of which were at war with one another. The soldiers urge to follow orders, the Sith urge to hate, the young man’s urge for companions, and the child’s hope of making his father proud, all of these feelings clashed with in him. He had fought against Jedi and Mandalorian to protect imperial citizens many times now. He had always put his duty first, after all, imperial citizens could not help who governed them any more than republic one could. Could they? Talon was confused to say the least as to what he should feel and do. Suddenly anger crept into his heart and he ignited his father’s Silver Lightsaber and cut down the six or so droids that were near him.

“Get moving you useless scape heaps!” he shouted at the rest.

He had to find the Jedi before another Sith did, and when he did he hoped he would have his mind clear enough to make the right decision.

When Valentina, entered the area, the hull of the crashed cruiser lied before her, she observed parts of the wreckage spread across the debris field, while the cruiser itself a hallowed ghost of its former glory, seemed to scrape the skies of Charros IV, it was that big. Not quite as big as the cathedral factory the pierced the mountain clouds in the mist behind her, yet it still remained impressive.

With Valentina stopped, some distance behind Knight Vosra's army, she instructed four DRK-1 probe droids a special task. These were not tasked to find the Jedi, Valentina already had an idea of their location when the Jedi built a wall between themselves and the Knight which the woman saw come down some distance away. No, these DRK-1's were to probe the cruiser for safe entry points so the Sith could infiltrate the ship.

And with that the droids hummed along, flying toward the their mission.

Tracyn rolled his eyes as the girls turned and began to walk further into the ship. They needed a plan, a bold one. And running and hiding wasn't exactly his forte, nor a good plan."Yeah well....Rank don't matter to me much no more."He said quietly, rising up to his full height, flanking behind Sochi and Diana. He stared at the back of Diana's head when she said that he didn't need to throw his life away. So, someone finally caught on. Suicide wasn't allowed or liked by any of the organizations or cultures he'd belonged to, but dying was perfectly ok. He was surprised no one had caught on earlier.

Tracyn blinked a few times, and then stared around the ship."Anything still functional? Weapons bay? Hangars?"Tracyn inquired, but he figured that the other Jedi probably didn't know. He had a very, very, stupid plan, but that would remain in his (formerly) pretty little head for the moment.

She relaxed from her tense position, and into a more relaxed one when Master Diana had brought down parts of the wreckage from above them to block off the Sith. She did however sense that the Sith was rather conflicted. That wasn't something she payed much attention to, nor could she with the pile of debris falling down before them. She sighed, as they were brought just a little more time. She however agreed with Diana on this one, she wasn't going to let him just sacrifice himself like that. She had seen enough of that today.

They began to walk further into the massive wreckage stepping up on piles of duracrete. She followed right behind Diana, and Tracyn behind her. Then a question was brought before them all. With a crash of this size and magnitude, Sochi doubted anything was left to salvage, and if they were to try and find a way to make this pile of rubbish into something useful that could try and get their hands on a holocomm of sorts.

"I wouldn't rely on anythi...." She began but was suddenly cut off when she noticed just a distance away a small, flashing light. It was one of those probes. Possibly trying to locate them. They couldn't risk being found. Diana couldn't keep brining down the roof forever. She placed her hand on Master Diana's shoulder and stopped her. She pointed in the far direction ahead of them. Sochi showed Tracyn as well all before quickly maneuvering herself behind a sudden heap of debris. If they waited for the probe to get closer they could possibly dispatch it without being located.
