Description: With the popular resurgence in slug weaponry, and with the increasing hostilities in the galaxy, current Protectorate armor designs were judged either too inefficient, or too expensive, for mass production. So, Corellian Arms was tasked with creating a mass-produced suit of armor for general combat roles. Taking a note from the history holovids, Corellian Arms designed a suit that functioned much like the Clone Trooper and Stormtrooper armors of old.

With an environmental underlay to keep the wearer comfortable in a wide range of temperatures, the body glove is a durasteel-reinforced nanoweave that offers a hard seal against harsh environments and is capable of deflecting small-caliber slugs, low-powered blaster shots, and resistant to slashing. The armor plates are made of a plastoid-ceramic composite that affords the wearer with significant protection against most common infantry-based weaponry. These plates, placed in critical areas over the torso, arms, and legs, can be removed and replaced as worn and damaged in combat, allowing for users to continue battlefield operations. The HUD within the helmet contained an automatic polarization feature, as well as a Multi-Frequency Targeting and Acquisition System, or MFTAS, that assisted the wearer in adverse visual situations, such as smoke, darkness, or weather conditions like sandstorms or blizzards.

Naturally, there are downfalls to the armor. The armor plates have gaps in protection, most notably around the joints and sides of the torso. The body glove is typically only rated for protection from a single blaster bolt or slug before the user is exposed to lethal damage. Dedicated anti-infantry weaponry and high-powered cannons can easily overwhelm the armor's protection, so caution is advised when facing such opposition. The armor only provides for an hour of air before the suit must take in air from the outside. While biological filters are in place that filter out most common airborne particles, diseases, and poisons, the wearer is still limited by the atmosphere in which they are deployed, or lack thereof.

As well, the armor offers no resistance to lightsabers whatsoever, so extreme caution is advised when facing opponents with lightsabers.
