- One of the guys: She found it easier through school to use Bas as a name as men had less inherent biases if they could not immediately identify her gender. She can shoot, fish, scale fences after perps and do just about anything a man can do.
- Empathetic when it suits her: Detective Terrix is a staunch feminist and victim’s advocate.
- Chip on her shoulder: Bas grew up on Coruscant has never really traveled outside of the ecumenopolis, so she can be prickly around offworlders especially law enforcement types who try to meddle with her cases.
- Fearless: Maybe it’s her gritty upbringing, or the fact that she grew up with three roughhousing brothers, but the Detective is not afraid of shooting first and asking questions later.
- The truth will set you free: Basca is vigilant about honesty and making sure her evidence doesn’t get tampered with.

APPEARANCE:
Basca is normally in uniform, but when she’s not on duty, she wears fairly casual clothing - tee-shirts, skinny jeans, boots or flats. Her hair is often tied up in a ponytail or low-sitting bun.
HISTORY:
Basca Wren Terrix grew up on Coruscant in a nicer section of the Third District but very near the Crimson Corridor. The only girl in a family of three brothers, Basca is a certifiable tomboy and has always followed in her siblings’ footsteps in everything including becoming a police officer. After receiving her Criminal Justice degree from the University of Coruscant, she moved offworld for a bit to serve on the interplanetary police force of Anaxes, but she became homesick around the age of twenty-five and returned home, rising through the CSF ranks to become a Detective.
PRESENT DAY & RELATIONSHIPS:
Bas gets along well with those of her tribe - city cops and Coruscanti She’s suspicious of outsiders and offworlders. Her best friends tend to be those she knew in her adolescence or those who have put up with her abrasive personality enough to realize that aside from her social flaws, she really cares about keeping Coruscant a safe place. Bas tends to make enemies quickly, but reserves her worst judgment for convicted criminals and the accused. There’s no “innocent until proven guilty,” with the blonde Detective as the court of public opinion can definitely persuade her. Bas is a love ‘em and leave ‘em type, but she could occasionally be wooed and does see herself settling down eventually. Her type would be a big, rugged guy or alien with similar interests to herself (fishing, podracing, catching scum-bags) but she might also fall for someone who is the complete opposite of her.
