- Highly automated: This ship requires the most basic of crews in comparison to other ships of its size and type due to the automated navicomputer and targeting systems.

- Structurally weak outer hull: with only th basic kind of durasteel plating and a standard issue shield to protect it, the outer hull is considerably weaker compared to the ship's main central body, part of which was complient with the design of the outer hull being detachable and thus expendable at minimum loss of cost and material.
- Low armament and armor: as stated above, the ships outer hull isn't exactly structurally dependable, but the ship also lacks any heavy weaponry, relying solely on a bit less than a dozen turbolasers.
