Description: This is BB's first attempt at replicating the confederacy Buzz droid. Designed to assist in humanitarian endeavors. All are programmed to seek out and destroy any weapon, vehicle or ship not defined as friendly. They do however have a directive not to kill any sentient life, only to disarm them and stun them if possible. When deployed they will seek out their targets and by whatever means necessary they will disarm and incapacitate their targets. Once their mission is done they will retract and go dormant till collected.
Other differences include a more basic design and they do not possess the ability to pass through shields as their predecessors, BB hopes to correct this with the next model. The idea purpose for these droids is for close quarter combat with infantry and boarding actions.
Strengths / Weaknesses
+ Simple design - The SD MK1 is a simplistic design and easy to produce.
- Weak - Relatively easy to destroy with common blasters or melee weapons.
