KItsune sat silently in her private quarters aboard the ISS Mikoshi. Interestingly, the parameters for what the ISS Mikoshi actually was were never defined by Kitsune, but it was universally among the Inari Shogunate that the ISS Mikoshi is simply the name applied to any vessel that has been graced by Kitsune's presence as the formal or informal commander of the ship. All that is really known about the ISS Mikoshi is that it has highly luxurious private quarters which Kitsune solely occupies with several unknown presences, most likely a secret guard, and some capacity of holding a limited amount of precious and rare cargo. The latter is the more relevant portion of the spiel of flavor text.

And it was always guaranteed that there would be fresh and the highest quality ryokucha, or known as gyokuro, on board the ship. And Kitsune would be slowly sipping a carefully brewed tea of gyokuro in the tranquility and peace of her room. This particular day, Kitsune felt the desire of preparing her own tea and thus, took out a small, finely crafted box of Dustkwood. Opening the elaborate platinum latch with a simple tap on the device, the top of the box divided into four sections, revealing the contents of a small pile of fresh leaves of gyokuro. She slowly took some gyokuro leaves and gently placed inside of a small white jade cup. Lifting a tea pot of pure water, she slowly swirled the tea pot and invoked her pyrokinetic abilities, slowly adding thermal energy to the pot until reaching an exact 72 degrees Celsius. Pouring a small amount of boiling water into the cup, she precisely poured the boiling water in an elipitical shape inside the cup until she had exactly 360 milliliters of water inside before casting the bronzium tea pot aside. She paused for a moment, allowing the gyokuro leaves to release its flavor into the water, before lifting the cup and taking a small sip.

At that very moment, an adjutant knocked on her door.

Kitsune continued to sip her tea until she belatedly responded, "Yes?" she stated sharply with a slight tonal intonation suggesting annoyance on her behalf.

The female adjutant, who was dressed in an elaborate, but at the same time simple, kimono bowed deeply before responding, "My Goddess, we have reached Bespin."

Kitsune simply nodded once, instantly dismissing the adjutant out of the room, before taking another small sip of her tea. She took a deep breath of the artificially filtered air before rising from her seat. She tightened the silk obi around her kimono before slipping into her alusteel geta. Gripping the hilt of her vibroblade katana, she simply moved towards the hangar bay in preparation to disembark from the ship and meet a trading representative which had possession of the tibanna gas she required.

As Kitsune descended into the lower levels of the ship and into the hangar bay, the ship rocked back and forward rapidly, causing her to temporarily lose balance. She quickly braced against the wall to her right with one hand, before unsheathing her vibroblade katana with her left hand. She snapped her fingers, and an adjutant quickly scurried behind Kitsune and bowed. He stated, "My Goddess...It seems that a small band of pirates have begun an assault on the ship. The energy input of our systems to our thermal shields have been increased, and thus, we should not feel any more reprecussions of their atrocious acts."

Kitsune regained her posture and activated the grav components of her alusteel geta. She turned around and addressed him, "Numbers?"

The adjutant quickly responded, "There are four airspeeders currently assaulting us. They seemed to be modified Storm IV Twin-Pod Cloud Cars, with additional blaster cannons."

Kitsune shrugged and stated in response, "Contact the local authorities and activate our defensive laser cannons. If they aren't dealt with soon, I'll exile the entire crew."

The adjutant quickly bowed, quivering in fear upon the hearing of possible exile and began running towards the cockpit of the ISS Mikoshi. Kitsune sighed and returned to her private quarters to inspect the situation firsthand.

Kitsune quickly approached her private quarters and reached for her personal datapad. Connected to the starship's computer systems data base, she could monitor the occurences which happened on board without the necessity of stepping into the cockpit. She quickly entered the 10 digit encryption code and logged into the system's sensor systems. Quickly inputting the sensory data into a holographic display logarithm encoded in the datapad, she gained a low resolution and low poly, but accurate three-dimensional perspective of the scene unfolding outside.

Soon after, one by one, each of the pirating vehicles were destroyed one by one with a two precise shots from the ISS Mikoshi's laser cannons. Efficient and precise as always. She thought disappointingly, actually hoping for greater action but was disappointed. She resumed her journey back to the hangar bay in order to meet this executive of sorts.

Kitsune briskly moved out of her personal quarters and moved towards the hangar bay of the ISS Mikoshi. It was filled with various cargo crates, mostly possessing an inordinate amount of silver. Nothing out of the ordinary for the Inari Shogunate, but most were covetous of the many precious metals that they had possessed, and in the quantities that they seemed to possess. The Inari Shoguante was paralleled to be a civilization similar to the ancient lore of the lost cities of aurodium. Despite this, the Inari Shogunate was simply skilled in the art of negotiation and commerce, leading to its excessive wealth.

She waited as the ISS Mikoshi slowly descended on the landing pad of Cloud City, the largest city on the planet of Bespin. Most of the interplanetary deals regarding the importation of tibanna gas was completed here, and Kitsune sought out a tibanna gas provider for her ordinance.

An inordinate amount.

As the hangar bay doors opened and the landing ramp extended and gently landed on the hard, duracrete floor of the landing pad, a protocol droid approached the base of the landing ramp and bowed awkwardly. In broken Vahla, they stated uncouthly, "Welcome to Cloud City. May we..."

Before the protocol droid could continue, Kitsune raised her hand in order to prevent the protocol droid from continuing. It seemed the galaxy was still uncultured and uneducated about the ways of the galaxy, including an accurate translation of Vahla. An obvious point of the dealer's incompetence. An incompetence she sought to exploit in the near negotiations. She stated in Galactic Basic, "Lead the way."

The protocol droid simply gestured wildly and stated quickly, "Yes, why, of course. My apologies for keeping you waiting, our honored guest. Please follow me, honored guest."

Kitsune despised protocol droids, and even more, despised excessive banter and conversation. There was no need, simply put. Vindictive and terse words were all that were required.

Kitsune quickly assessed the interiors of the trading center or commerce center that she had entered. It was mostly vacated, with the exception of a few guests meandering in the lobby. The interior gave the vibe of being of high class and quality, but Kitsune could obviously discern that most of the supposed wealth was pretentious, poorly designed, poorly crafted and in poor taste. She was obviously dealing with someone of, informally speaking, New Money rather than the Old Money Kitsune was of. This gave her another potential leeway in order to flip the deal with the trader: superficial and inexperienced, Kitsune could easily hash out a very profitable agreement with little loss.

Kitsune entered the "grand" office of the trade, whose name was Arlene Cross. An independent extractor in the Southern Regions of Bespin, she was the primary source that Kitsune's advisers had directed towards. Independent extractors were often much more cheaper than corporate extractors, with the additional fact that Arlene Cross was relatively new to the field of tibanna gas extraction, thus allowing Kitsune to exploit her a better deal.

Kitsune walked in with her traditional blue and white armorweave and silk kimono, which was further adorned with platinum threads and aurodium leaf. Her hair was adorned with several platinum and aurodium hair ornaments which had sapphires and cerulean diamonds embellishes. Tied neatly on her silk and armorweave obi was a vibroblade katana and respective vibroblade wakizashi.

Arlene Cross, unsurprisingly, was dressed in a most likely unnecessarily expensive tight black dress made of a mediocre quality fabric. Sure, Arlene most likely paid an exorbitant price to purchase the dress, but to Kitsune, it was apparent that it was of lower quality due the different fibers of the dress, which gave off an uneven and nonuniform reflection. This was not apparent to average sentient beings, but to Kitsune, who was highly experienced and seasoned with dealing with clothing and fabrics as a commodity, rather than a bought product, it was easy to discern. Of course, to sentient beings, "fashion" was more important than quality.

Arlene was leaned against a large, mahogany desk and she smiled as Kitsune walked inside of the office and waved casually. She pushed herself off the desk and quickly moved towards Kitsune to shake her hand. "Welcome, how do you do? The name is Miss Arlene Cross, although you can just call me Arlene. I presume you to be Dah...mo..."

She struggled to pronounce Daimyo correctly before retorting with, "Well whatever, Kit right? Ah, it's nice to meet you. I've heard a lot recently about you these days. Not much about where you are from...the Enar, yeah?"

Kitsune forced a smile and nodded, "Correct Miss Arlene. It's a pleasure to meet you as well."

She held out her hand and waited for Arlene to reciprocate. She gripped Kitsune's hand tightly and shook it twice before releasing her grip.

Arlene responded, "So interested in Tibanna Gas, huh? What do you propose on trading for this Tibanna Gas?"

Kitsune simply replied, "Well, I do not, personally, utilize or deal with credits in transactions, but I can assure you great wealth and riches in exchange for the Tibanna Gas I require."

She snaps her fingers, and two heavily armored soldiers appear from the doorway with a large chest. They halt exactly six meters behind Kitsune and wait for her command. She continues, "You see, that one chest has enough silver inside to make you a very, very rich woman, Mrs. Arlene."

She begins to shake slightly in excitement and bits her lip. The digits of her left hand figdet and tap against her thigh as she contemplates the tempting offer in front of her. She is about to speak and stops herself from speaking, thinking for a moment about the proposition before her.

Kitsune turns her head slightly backward to look at the two soldiers. They nod before lowering the chest slowly to the ground and opening it, revealing a dazzling display of a large pile of silver: totaling 300 kilograms of silver or several thousand credits worth of precious metals. Arlene immediately stated, "Alright, alright. I'll supply you your Tibanna Gas...silver for Tibanna Gas."

She motioned with her head toward the chest. She responded to Arlene's acceptance of her proposition, "A chest of 300 kilograms of silver per 300,000 metric tons of refined and 100.00% pure Tibanna Gas?"

Arlene put her hands up in protest in the air. "Whoa, whoa slow down. You're asking for a lot of Tibanna Gas there. Even I'll have to think about that, regardless of how tempting your offer is."

Kitsune took a single step forward and pressed forward, she stated in a completely neutral tone "I want you to decide now."

She smiled and took another step forward. And another. And another. Arlene was too confused regarding the situation to do anything, but soon, Kitsune was extremely close to Arlene and she placed her arms around her neck and quickly injected a needle into her neck, injecting ninety milliliters of glitteryll. She embraced Arlene's drooping head in her arms and quietly shushed her. Using the Force to particularly impression of her words into her mind, "As soon as wake, you'll have happily agreed to these terms and be my servant."

Arlene became slump in her arms and Kitsune carried her to couch. Motioning to a guard, she removed his cloak with a quick swipe and placed it over Arlene's body. She walked over to Arlene's desk and took a seat in her chair.

The chair, at the very least, was comfortable.
