DESCRIPTION
The Band of the Silik operates one-part as a militarized warband, one-part a governing entity and the remainder is focused on autonomous production capacity. In essence it is a mobile micro-nation usually on the move. Right now it is a relatively small commune, men and women attracted to the cause because of its leader. They are the lost, the broken, they have seen their homes reduced to dust by the Empire of the Sith and the First Order.

Tython is their first and potentially only permanent foothold in the Galaxy.

They have salvaged the remains of a small shipyard over the world, repaired it to operational functionality. It can currently construct sub-capital ships and repair capital ones, but not at the same time. A few mining probes have been send to the other planetoids of the system, testing out if there are viable mining opportunities within the system. Otherwise the Band has some minor ability to construct and reproduce arms, armor for their people.

One can only lean on themselves in times of war.

RATIONALE
Back in a different life Sardun was a scion of nobility.

A Republic general, an Alderaan princess, but that... that was a long time ago. As he returned to the Galaxy after years of capture, he realized that he didn't own anything anymore. No tools nor assets to fight a war long overdue. It all began with a call. A reminder to those lost and broken that there is a way. A solution to their hopeless situation. Maybe they followed him because of his name. His reputation. Maybe simply because they needed something to believe in. Either way, the Band was formed and their numbers grew. They offered protection, offered a cause.

In return they took what they needed.

This didn't make them popular, some considering them no better than the Sith they were fighting. The Band accepts their scorn. It is easy to judge when you are not fighting a fight that could determine the nature of the Galaxy for decades to come.

Sometimes you need to dirty your hands to get things done, no?
