BALMORRA: Gorinth Canyon (PVE/PVP Army Fight)

Right, so this is happening. Kiyron will be here again. Let's figure out what on Balmorra we're going to be doing for this. Since it's canyons, I think the best thing to do would be to secure high altitude points with artillery. Use aircraft from there to scout out other locations and find enemy locations. Hammer them with artillery. Drop troops into weakened canyon defense position and establish field fortifications before proceeding.

Anyone have ideas that are better? Mine's not that great.

I would look into employing the use of thermobaric weaponry. They were/are used extensively in Afghanistan when trying to clear out caves and other small areas. They literally light the oxygen in the targeted location on fire. Very cool stuff. That'll guarantee significant ground troop casualties if detonated inside the canyon.

I'll be submitting a factory submission for a weapon like this soon, hopefully.

That sounds like an excellent idea. Do we have anything to use for that before the invasion starts? Once you do, it would be very helpful.

I have nothing as of yet. I think it'd be a good idea if we drafted some ideas in the pre-factory or in a PM.

I have this week off, so I have enough time to start developing new weaponry and pumping out factory submissions.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.
Midterms will be over, so I'll have some time to throw input in as well.

Oh yeah, you're a long ways ahead of me then. Go get some sleep. [member="Jaccer Ramirez"]

And OS now have a sub up for thermobaric artillery. Have to keep an eye out for those.

Yeah, that is the truth. Maybe we can send SpecOps teams to hijack some of them.
