Sanya looked at them both her expression less than cheerful now. "Well recently I have been in republic space and helping secure planets into your domain. In secrete I've been asked to prepare any defence that we can spare. If there was some kind of alliance or even a treaty proposed it wouldn't have to be kept on the down low and the same kindness can be returned when you are more fortified." It wasn't that Sanya was getting stressed but more let down as she came in feeling somewhat hopeful. She'd spent most her life been in the republic and wanted to support them still but in other ways. "Reputation is often mislead anyhow. It's due to us been a new society and rather unknown we have developed some kind of bad reputation. The thing is we are not bad people. All we need is a chance to prove this and simply staying out the way won't offer that chance." looking at lady Kay her expression looked more than innocent. "I would still like to keep in contact but please try purswade the Senate that we mean good. I will continue to help protect you from the sith as much as I can but until we are on equal footing as allies of some kind there isn't much I can do. Personally I don't like working in secret when I'm trying to build a good positive reputation for my people."

"I was unaware that you were helping in secret. But then again, it was a secret. I can bring it up to the Senate and maybe those that have sought your help will help it to pass. But if it doesn't pass then there's not much that I can do, I'm afraid. I don't have a high enough status to veto a vote." Kay didn't want that kind of power anyways. She much preferred the little bit that she had. It gave her freedom to pursue her own missions.

Sanya nodded with a smile. "I'm sure some may have know I've been there helping. There was this one trooper I think I spoke with very briefly over the com's and identified myself but never catches his name unfortunately. Non the less all I'm asking at this point is try for something. I can probably reach out and help the proposal go better. For the moment this doesn't leave the room until I have his permission to have him more involved but [member="Mantic Dorn"] has been my contact. I'm still also in contact with [member="Corvus Raaf"]. As I said I will be holding a meeting with her relatively soon about the jedi's aid too." Now things have unraveled a little maybe this would go better. Diplomacy was hard mentally. Speaking was one thing but seriously thinking about what should and needed to be said was the hard part. "I will have a long discussion with my council members about what happened here today. So if there is anything you would like me to mention then I will."

"I have met Mantic on a few occasions. Corvus Raaf however, I have not. Yet they are both good people."

She glanced to both [member="Ashler de Dedhart"] and [member="Sanya Val Lerium"] . "I don't think that I have anything else to add. All we can do is hope for the best."
