  • Swordswoman: The daughter of an Echani general and Kiffar-Atrisian Noblewoman, Baiko was given the most elite training in combat, as befitting a Handmaiden and Lady in Waiting.
  • Psychometric: ~ 1 in 100 Kiffar are able to read the memories of inanimate objects (including corpses). Baiko is such a kiffar.

Weaknesses:
  • Hidden Talents: It takes a considerable amount of personal energy to constantly hide her force signature. This is taxing daily.

  • Grief: Baiko lost all her children and grandchildren in the various wars of the Galaxy.

APPEARANCE:
The elegant Atrisian, Baiko no Kaho is the epitome of a Lady. Draped constantly in the robes and dresses of her Atrisian homeland, Baiko is incapable of looking unpolished. Tall and slim for an Atrisian woman, she moves with the quiet assurance of her Echani father. Silver-dotted black hair is constantly up, and if the woman is ever to be in something as vulgar as armour, it is Echani in style.

BIOGRAPHY:
A half-blooded girl was born to an Atrisian Kiffar noblewoman and her Echani lover. Bearing none of the visible genetic markers of her father's kin, she moves like water upon stale ground. Trained in the traditional role of Handmaiden and Lady in Waiting to the Atrisian Noble Houses, Baiko disappeared from Atrisian life to have her firstborn son, whose father refused to acknowledge him.

Condemned for a past offence, Baiko's place in Atrisian society was destroyed until Emperor Akio Kahoshi brought her back for a single purpose: Redeem herself by serving [member="Aditya Mantis"], then Aditya Fitz-Kierke, in the transition from Panathan Citizen, to Atrisian Noble.

Aditya became the daughter she'd lost, after all of her children and her one grandchild were killed over the attrition-based wars in the Galaxy. While Aditya adventured, Baiko ran her businesses, became a confidante, security guard and the older woman who could talk Aditya through pregnancy, and rearing her firstborn daughter.

When Aditya descended into the Netherworld, Baiko continued to work to sustain the companies, and do what she could for Preliat Mantis. When Aditya returned, Baiko doubled her efforts to help her Mistress and the young [member="Yasha Mantis"] recover from their ordeal.

Now, Aditya is dead and Yasha is growing into a young lady. Baiko continues her service to Clan Mantis, and the Lady Fitz-Kierke. But Mandalore was not a safe haven. It gets more dangerous every day for those who ply the Force, and there are whispers guiding the young would-be Mand'alor Yasha Mantis' mind.
