"The Misfit. One and only!"

As he looked down at the datapad in her hands while she went about reviewing the photos, while she was still in his embrace, the young Mandalorian couldn’t help but giggle a little bit at the sight of one of the pictures, where the Zabrak had piked up two fingers at the back of his head, like bunny ears!
That was so going to be his wallpaper for both his custom datapad and rig.
"Done and dusted." She remarked as she looked up at him.
”Thanks!” he said after planting a quick smooch on her cheek.
"Not a bad idea. I brought a few along as well. Also got my holoprojector here for it, just need to rig up some speakers."
After giving it a moment’s consideration at his proposal, a smile would pull at Kayl’s lips in response to Ara. ”I can get it all set up! I’m certain the projector’s compatible with the sockets of my rig,” the young man said; sensing her desire to shift around, The Misfit loosened his embrace, allowing her to turn around to look at him more easily.
The mischievous glint he was all too familiar with, was unmistakable in those lovely pair of green eyes, looking back at him just a few inches away from his visage; the young man answered her gesture with a silent, affectionate gaze of his own, wondering to himself what she had in mind.
"But you gotta make the coffee and popcorn... Unless you don't want a surprise..."
”Hah! You got yourself a deal!" he acknowledged without a second thought. A hint of excitement would be apparent in his voice ever so slightly. Catching up to her at the staircase, the young man would briefly turn to look at her upon hearing the all too familiar activation sound of his helmet mounted macrobinoculars.
Yo! That's wizard... it even makes the 'twee' sound!" She immediately made her way back down the darkened area as she waved him off. "Get the snacks going, I'm gonna play with this for a bit." She giggled away as she walked around the space with the visor pulled down.
A hearty chuckle escaped him as she hastily made her way down the stairs, quickly disappearing in the dark. ”Fine by me! You break it, you pay for it, though!” he quipped at her as he continued down the corridor, towards the kitchen; he didn’t have any concerns regarding the condition of his gear after she tampered with it. The material was sturdy, capable of withstanding several consecutive hits before actually starting to malfunction, so it would be quite difficult to break it, he assumed.
Or so he thought; he didn’t think she would stir awake the Basilisk War Droid -those several months ago- either.
But regardless of what he thought though, the young man would be quick to get to work; popping the lid of the filter coffee machine’s water reservoir, the young man added enough water to have a good few cups. Putting a filter in the filter basket afterwards, he’d put three measuring spoons of fine ground coffee into the filter.
After placing the coffee jug into its place under the drip nozzle and turning on the machine, it would only take the young man a little over five minutes to get done making the popcorn; cooked up in salted butter and at a pleasant medium temperature to avoid burning the kernels, the young man would leave the kitchen for the living room with two large bowls in his hands, topped off with their preferred choice of snacks.
There was still some time for the coffee to be ready, however.
Setting the bowls on a coffee table close to the couch, the young man would go about setting up the holoprojector in the meantime, by first hooking it up to his rig in the living room; he couldn’t help but wonder what her surprise would be, but chose to not dwell on it too much. He did not want to spoil it by analyzing all the little details and coming up with a credible theory as to what her surprise could be.
A lot more fun would be had for the both of them if it remained a surprise, and he hadn’t had a clue what she was up to.
