In orbit somewhere near Sisio
There was nothing particularly relaxing about being jettisoned into space with no control.
Being behind the yoke, navigating betwixt the Stars on a charted path (or uncharted), making your own calls - that was therapeutic. The exhileration that came with twisting between adversarial plasma salvo was when she was operating at her peak.
This whole empty your mind, and focus on The Force bullocks was not calming. Nor was it particularly helping the situation.
The lithe pilot was still electric with the amount of energy she'd discharged aboard the super weapon, and being confined to an escape pod was not a good use of her enthusiasm. Her body was literally aglow, lighting the inside of the pod with what Jedi would call Force Light. She didn't know how to turn it off. Her hands, skin, it was all alight with the permeating energy. Her adrenaline was still pumping. And it turns out, she was the only thing that was activated or on in this whole shuttle. She'd been spending the better part of two hours trying to make the right wires speak to one another to reactivate the thrusters, but alas - here she was - in a powerless escape pod.
She had no idea where her friends were, her StealthX pilot, or...anyone. Nor how long she'd be out here. Life support seemed to be the only thing functioning, thank the galaxies for that. That was positive. Focus on the positives. She assumed they were on Sisio, which was now safe due to the Coalition's success against The Sith Empire's weapon.
A soft smile crept across her lips, satisfied in that victory.
Closing her eyes, Loske leaned back into the designated seat of the pod and reflected on what [member="Cedric Grayson"] had said back on Ruusan. Empty the mind. Focus on The Force.
It would work in mysterious ways.
Maybe she could figure out a way to activate these new powers moreso and push herself to Sisio....
