Most of his attention had been consumed by events in the chaotic core with the Spare Fleet as of late, but one especially horrific act of barbarity drew him back into the East with glaring focus. Now he saw war exploding there between all the great powers.

Troubled by what he was seeing, once more he returned to Diarchy space for answers, quietly arriving to the stronghold of the Lilaste Order to converse with Laphisto in private.

He was concerned for his friend, and still felt responsible for the countless refugees of the fallen Alliance who had found sanctuary within the open arms of the Diarchy, now once again thrust onto the frontline of war.

Quietly, he stood beside his starship in the hanger, hood drawn over his head as he awaited a reception.

Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Laphisto approached the hangar bay at an unhurried pace, taloned feet echoing softly against the durasteel deck. It was rare for anyone to enter Aurora Station unannounced, rarer still for someone to do so using his personal guest clearance codes. That alone marked the arrival as deliberate rather than accidental. When he caught sight of the visitor, recognition came with a flicker of surprise. The son of the man who had freed him from carbonite. That connection earned more than routine scrutiny.

One brow rose as his head tilted slightly to the side, a quiet, assessing gesture rather than open suspicion. He lifted a closed fist without looking back. The High Guard escort halted instantly, armored forms locking into place behind him with practiced discipline, weapons lowered but ready.
Laphisto stepped closer, his heterochromatic gaze settling fully on the man before him. There was no hostility in his expression, only measured curiosity and the weight of memory "Mykel, was it? What brings you all the way out here?"
