Ain't No Rest For The Wicked

The subtle twitch of muscle rolling just underneath the skin was the only suggestion she got that something had almost happened.

But her voice had prepared him for just about everything - for reasons unknown this woman loved testing out his boundaries and it left him... stumped. This was not a problem Elijah usually experienced. Well, usually he was in armor and on the hunt, so he didn't actually have a lot of experience with this. "Oh, yeah-" He tilted his head slightly to catch her in his vision, but any other words were practically choked off what he saw there. Brows furrowed up, gaze ghosted over her form for just two seconds, before the Mandalorian looked away and back to the city.

Enough time for Ally to recognize interest, but short enough time for Eli to have plausible deniability.

"They are weak." Rekali finally said, hand gesturing towards the city. "Afraid all that they build will collapse around them."

Broad shoulders shrugged.

He did cast another look at her, but mentally forced himself to keep her eye, instead of following the line of the jaw down, down, down- focus. "That's why they subjugate their women. To feel powerful, so they can feel strong for at least one moment."

Elijah was born a Mandalorian, he was born a Rekali.

Try and subjugate a Mandalorian woman.... it wouldn't go well for you.

Allyson made note to his glance. It seemed he did know about what he liked and what he didn’t like and she seemed to fall into the category of like. She didn’t push him now and decided to listen to what he had to say. The man had an interesting outlook on things, he was different than Ember and she could see why the man sent Elijah to this little mission. Her eyes remained on the cityscape and wondered if what he was saying was right. Were the people of this planet that scared of what the future held? Did it really have to be the oppression of women to keep their lives safe? There were so many questions that Allyson had for these people, but she knew that she would never get to ask them without someone attempting to strike her down.

Thinking about that scenario, she wondered if Elijah would step in and defend her or if he would let it happen to keep the façade of their covers.

Once more she felt his eyes on her, she enjoyed the attention. He was interesting and not half bad to look at. Though she wondered what he was hiding underneath, but that would probably take a bit more effort on her part and she would probably have to be blunt about it. She mused quietly in the silence between them, did he even know how to use it? Allyson blinked quickly as she snapped out of her thoughts and looked towards Elijah.

“I guess, it’s just a really dumb way to go about things. Do they forget who gave them life? Ugh women are just as important as the men.” She pushed herself away from the balcony and continued to look towards him. “You look like something is bothering you. Are you okay Elijah?” She raised an eyebrow and took a step towards him. They were close and she adjusted the towel, she made sure part of her chest showed – just enough to let his imagination begin to turn. “You should take a shower, it feels amazing in there.” Smirking, she stepped back and sauntered towards the bedroom. “You should have joined me – then you wouldn’t feel so compelled to make sure you focused your attention away from what you actually want to look at.”

There, she did it – the game was pushed forward and [member="Elijah Rekali"] was the toy. She knew exactly what he was going through. She had seen it before, the way he did his best to focus on her face and not the other places she teased him with. The next part was his move and she was curious to see what he was going to do.

Rekali agreed with her.

But the journey to the agreement was different for him- it was more about utility and sense than anything deep primal. Understandable, because this was personal for her as a woman. For him it just didn't make much sense to limit half of your population from anything useful. They could fight, work, defend just as hard as the other half, but instead they were weakening themselves purposefully to feed fragile egos and weak resolves. It would not last, as far as Elijah was concerned, one day?

It would all crumble around them.

"It won't last." Elijah responded, before she asked him if he was okay. "Yeah, I am fin-"

The flash of depth cut him off entirely and he wasn't sure what to say. Which was completely a-okay according to Ally who used the... hole... to fill it with more words. Brows furrowed deeper, trying to look away, but landing only on her lips.

Not helpful.

He looked as she walked away, eyes firmly on the swaying hips and the... feth.

This was awkward. This was unpleasant. Why couldn't Elijah just disappear in the crowd and leave all of this behind? Because they were in a penthouse suite in the middle of a foreign planet on a mission for his uncle and there wasn't really anything to do other than push further.

No. Not- images showing up in his head were even less helpful.

"I." Let the record show that Elijah was trying. "-right." She looked over her shoulder, smirking and that wasn't helpful third. "These hands ain't good for anything but the kill, Locke." Barely managed to get that out as he was trying to brush past her, but there wasn't much room to get to the bathroom. It was as if she was purposefully trying to get in his way as their bodies brushed against one another. Now he really wished he had kept the armor on, would have been less... tight.

He was struggling so much and Allyson for the most part enjoyed it, but there was something more lying underneath his struggle. Their bodies brushed against each other and he was warm – a bit of a difference compared to the armor he wore. For the first time, she became very much aware that he was human. He wasn’t the killing machine he lived up to being. Something inside of her became determined to show the man his humanity. Though, she wondered if that would ruin the killing machine Ember had on his payroll and his family. Once more and probably not the last time, Ember’s words hung in the air. This wasn’t a game anymore. The Mandalorian that had just walked by her made her skin burn, he was interesting, and mysterious.

Allyson Locke was more than just interested, she was intrigued. She followed him towards the bathroom, but stopped. Right now, he needed some space to gather his thoughts. As he made his way towards the bathroom, she made sure he had enough room and made a quick check on him – explaining how the refresher worked and such. Before closing the door, she paused. Hazel eyes locked on his uniquely purple eyes, “There’s more to you than the kill Elijah…try and see that.” Nodding, she closed the door and sigh softly.

A hand rested against her forehead, moving aside the damp brown hair from it. Softly she spoke under her breath and sighed. “What are you getting yourself into Locke…?” [member="Elijah Rekali"]
