Back To Basics [Open to Tython]

Training Grounds, the Jedi Temple
Tython

The return to Tython had hit him harder than he'd once thought, with vivid memories of Master Asha taking shape and playing tricks on his mind. They were so real - so life-like, that he swore he could've reached out and touch them. Thurion felt the need to give himself a break from the literal onslaught of nostalgia he felt within the walls of the Jedi Temple, and so went outside for some fresh air. Out in the training grounds, the padawans of the Order were hard at work with whatever chores and sessions their masters would put them through. Seeing the determination on some of the younglings' faces managed to put a slight smile on the visiting Knight, who recognised the proud moments of Jedi training as well as the tough ones. A strong mind void of doubt was key to achieving one's goals; not the goals of your master, but rather the personal goals you'd continuously set up for yourself. You wanted to make your master proud, and in doing so you made yourself proud and gave you the sense of having accomplished something great. It's all about the correct mindset.

Of course, not all were hard at work this afternoon. Some were merely enjoying the beautiful day Tython would often offer, some were sat studying the great tomes of the Jedi Archives found on Tython, and some were meditating on past events or on the Jedi Code and what it meant. There are many ways to learn about the Force and your capability to use it, and for some the calling goes to lightsaber combat and that of the body, while some strive for intellect and the strengthening of the mind through the great wisdom of ancient texts from another era.

Thurion casually wandered through the vast open area that was the training grounds, looking over each individual as they went about their duties. While he was no longer a member of the Order, he felt for these young people and what they were going through; the life of a padawan can be... strenuous, at times. He knew this better than most.
