Back in Time [Coci]

Planet Laekia
Kalos System
It was a bit of a strange sensation, returning to one of the worlds he had once called 'home'. Laekia was where Thurion settled down for a time upon his return from his pilgrimage across the stars many years ago. It was where he lived during his time with the Levantine Sanctum and where he chose to adopt little Nina. Above all, he remembered this planet for being where he and [member="Coci Heavenshield"] had their first date.

Today was their wedding anniversary, and so Thurion felt going back to a simpler time.

Watching her standing by the main viewport of the Oathkeeper, he stepped over to stand closely behind his wife to wrap his arms around her front and rest his bearded chin upon her head. They were both much older this time around, yet their love had only grown with each year. Growing old with the one you love makes growing old not a chore, but rather a privilege.

Catching Coci's reflection in the transparisteel window, he couldn't help but smile. "You only become more beautiful with every year," he whispered before placing a kiss upon her head, nuzzling into her black hair.

For the best part of the journey, Thurion had kept their destination a secret and it was not until they had come within range of the planet did she finally realise where they were. Laekia .. it seemed like a full life time ago since they had come here together again. The last time she had visited the planet was with Siobhan for some lunch, shopping, massage and training. A full jam packed day out for the two girls. Her mind went to the package she had purchased from the shop, the items inside had not seen the light of day, not having had the chance to wear the 'gift' for her husband but maybe this visit she could. At least they are packed in her cupboard and given the chance she will change into them.

A smile broke out over his face, her black eyes sparkling with the remembrance of their first date. The crashing waves, on the beach which has cooled their arda and set them more at ease in each other's company that night. And on returning home .. to his home, they made love for the second time. By the force how persistant he was in pursuing her and she could not help but love him.

His arms folded around her, holding her tightly against his body. Coci's head leaned back to rest against his chest, so tired and worn out from the recent events they both deserved a couple of days of repose. It would do them and everyone good for them to be refreshed. She turned within his arms and looked up into his handsome face with a smile. Yes they had grown older and the march of time showed on their faces, lines of laughter and sadness etched their on both of them, and not one of them would she have removed. They speak of life and it's experiences, the good and bad but they are the lines of Jedi that have done their best to fulfil their duty as best they could. But no Jedi will walk the soil of Laekia today, but husband and wife.

"And you have grown more handsome", she said with a grin and even still he can make her blush with his words and the flush prickled her cheeks. Her hand glided slowly up his chest to the back of his neck and she encourage her husband to lean down for a kiss and when their lips met she did not hold back any of her love for him.
[member="Thurion Heavenshield"]

He followed her urging without hesitation, leaning down to place his lips hers. His arms still wrapped around her waist held her tighter as he proceeded to lift her off the ground while their kiss remained unbroken. Every kiss they had ever shared only served to deepen his love for the only woman in his life. Twenty years ago he would have never guessed to be where he was now, happily married and with children who are now all grown up and are slowly beginning to start lives on their own. He has been reunited with his older brother and his childhood friend, who now are married and parents as well. No, this certainly was not where he saw himself as a young Knight leaving the comfort of Teth to find his purpose.

Their kiss finally came to a close as Teetoo chirped a cheerful tune in the background, and upon catching a glance at the planet through the viewport it had suddenly grown huge since last they'd laid eyes on it. "Alright, Teetoo - take her down nice and easy." His eyes found Coci's and he smiled wide. "I am in no hurry whatsoever..." Lowering his wife back down onto the floor, he leaned in to nuzzle the tip of her nose with his. Thurion then took her left hand in his and raised it to his lips where he placed a tender kiss upon her wedding ring. "Ek elska þik, minn hjarta."

[member="Coci Heavenshield"]

"Ég kært og elska þik núna og víðar þessu lífi". She said the words in the ancient tongue as his lips kissed her wedding ring. A soft smile graced her lips looking tenderly on him in this moment. Nor was she in any hurry but wanting nothing more then to savour every moment they would be afforded in this time away until their need to return, for precious are these times now with everything drawing to a conclusion and one day soon the two of them would make their final decision. But today is not the day in which they will speak of this.

Coci pulled Thurion close to her. Her arms wrapped around his waist as she rested her head against his chest and look out the view port as the Oathkeeper approached for landing. She could have stood in this moment for a life time, safe within his arms and without any sense of urgency to be anywhere and she longed for the day in which they could do exactly that .. it would come, one day. Yet she could not help but wonder what plans Thurion had for the both here on Laekia, he was up to something that much she knew, she knows him too well.

"It would be nice to walk along the white sand on the beach .. our beach", she said softly and with a grin as she remembered their first date. She broke away from his chest only to look up into his face her eyes sparkling with a question upon them.
[member="Thurion Heavenshield"]

While locked in loving embrace, Thurion raised a hand to caress Coci's cheek just as the ship came to a halt within the space port. A boyish grin formed upon his lips before he reached for his jacket draped over the captain's chair, taking his wife's hand in his to lead her down the ramp, out the space port and into the city streets of Lavorn. Looking around him, some things had changed since their last visit while others remained the same, as was often the case with evolving cities. Still, the cityscape remained much the same and so finding what he was looking for was an easy task.

They had found the ocean, with its waves crashing against the white shores to the setting sun. And there it was, the oceanside restaurant where they had eaten their first meal together. Thurion turned to Coci and beamed a smile. "Come on, let's go!"

Making their way towards the restaurant, it soon however became increasingly obvious that the place was no longer in buisness. Most of the windows were boarded up from the inside with no discernable light sources, and there seemed to be no-one around. When they reached the front door Thurion grabbed the handle and gave it a few tugs, but it was completely locked up. "Aw... that's a shame," he said in slight disappointment. "I was kinda hoping they'd still be open for buisness."

Still, this did not dissuade him as they instead found a market stall selling easy-to-make takeaway food not far from they stood. Now sat in the warm sand with burger in hand and sipping on his soda, Thurion turned to Coci once more. "Not exactly as I had planned it, I must admit," he told her with a mouthful of burger.

[member="Coci Heavenshield"]

When it became clear to her where Thurion had planned to take her, to revisit, she smiled warmly and strangely, the same tumbling nervousness she felt that day as she made her way to the restaurant returned to her stomach as if the first date was happening all over again. And what a wonderful feeling it is. Yet, like her husband she looked over the place with a sense of disappointment that the place had been closed down and now sat in despair and gathering dust. Hmm, we can't have that happen.

After they found some food from near by stalls, the couple returned to the beach and sat in the warmth of the sun. It is so peaceful here, the way she remembered it and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore brought a smile to her face, and only increased her smile as Thurion sat cheeks full of burger as hungry as a hunter. Coci watched him for a moment, noticed some of the burger juices escape into his beard. She grabbed a napkin and offered to him with a chuckle. "You know", she began as her eyes found the small restaurant in the distance, "We could .. reopen it". Coci, always thinking of the future.

She took a mouthful of her own soda to wash down her food before settling back on the sand, done with eating. "I am a good cook, you are good with people", she began to laugh at the idea of them running a restaurant together, but it was a very pleasant dream if nothing else. And yet, there was a tone of seriousness in the suggestion.
[member="Thurion Heavenshield"]

Wiping his mouth and chin with the napkin, he set the burger aside on its little tray before taking another sip from his soda. He too let out a chuckle when she made mention of the restaurant and how they could re-open it. "Wouldn't that be the day," he said while wrapping an arm around Coci. "But it sure is a nice dream, isn't it?" A time would could when they are no longer in charge of an order of Jedi, but rather in charge of their own lives. That day could not arrive soon enough, but again Thurion is reminded of his father's words: A good leader is a reluctant leader.

Leaning forward, he begins to undo his boots and pulls them off one at a time. Removing his socks as well, his bare feet dig into the soft sand and he lays back on their picnic blanket. "Can we just stay here forever," he asked while raising a hand to caress her back, tracing her spine with his fingertips.

[member="Coci Heavenshield"]

Out of the corner of her eyes, she watched Thurion remove his boots and sock before plunging them into the sand, his toes wriggling with the warmth of it. She sat up pulling her legs to her chest and wrapped her arms around them, just watching the waves. A soft warm breeze rolled in over them, and played with her hair and the sun continued to bathe them in light and heat. It felt wonderful on her skin and she was of a mind to remove her outer clothes to take in more. But before she would, Coci felt the gentle touch of him on her spine, her body reacting to the touch and her back twisted with the ticklish sensation. She turned her head with a grin, he would know what he is doing to her under his touch.

Coci shifted her body until she could look down into his smiling face. "Yes lets stay here forever", if only we could.

She took hold of his hand and placed it on her thigh his palm facing upward and she traced the lines on his skin with her fingertips. She watched this for a moment before her black eyes met with his once more and in a sudden motion she stood up standing over him blocking the sun and began to remove her clothing until down to her lace undergarments the skin of her body drinking in the rays of the sun. She loosened her hair around her shoulders and looked back to the water with a smile.

"Come on lazy! it has been forever since we swam". She gave Thurion a nudge with her foot on his side where she knew his body was sensitive, a teasing gentle encouragement that would form a strong reaction.

Watching as she stood over him while stripping down to her provocative underwear, Thurion's breath caught in his throat. When her urging to go swimming came, he squirmed to the gentle nudging of her toes in his side. She knew him all too well. "I'll show you lazy," he told her with a smirk as he sat up to undress as well. Once down to his undies he stood up and effortlessly sweeped Coci off her feet, carrying her down into the ocean. His lips found hers as he stood chest-deep in water, still holding onto her.

"I love you, my beautiful Coci," he spoke following their kiss, and he slowly set her down to instead take her by the hand and place a kiss upon it.

He followed up his declaration of love with a splash of water in her face coupled with a warm laugh. Before she could return the favour he ducked down under the water and skillfully got behind her to wrap his arms around her, pressing his body against her backside. This time his lips found the softness of her neck where he placed a series of tender kisses.

[member="Coci Heavenshield"]

She threw back her head in laughter as Thurion with little effort, picked her up and ran to the water. Coci's legs kicking in protest for the play of it, but her arms wrapped around his shoulders and she was about speak but her lips were stopped with his kiss. It was like their first date all over again, the fun and sensation of being with him just as they are now, just a girl and a boy.

Plunged into the water, it was warm and reviving to her body and did wonders for her spirit, for his as well she had no doubt of that and the two needed very much. A gentle moment, in which she smiled and voiced her love for him, "I love you, my Thurion .. my Heart". The moment cut by a wave of water splashed from his hand and she laughed strong while wiping away the salt from her eyes.

Before she knew what would happen next she felt his physical presence against her body, pressed firm and pulled tight. Coci's head tilted with eyes close relishing every touch of his lips on her neck, allowing herself to drift off into a world where it is only he and she and nothing else mattered. She turned in his arms, her hands gliding up his chest and over his shoulders as her lips found his once more. She could feel the waves against their bodies, the push pull of the tide drawing them closer, eternity would not be long enough to remain in this moment. Yet, her longing to demonstrate her love for him grew, and would not be satiated until they formed a union.

There had never been a moment when in the company of his beloved, nor would there ever be, when he did not feel so complete, so utterly blissful. When their lips meet it simultaniously soothes his spirit, heals his wounds, and entices him. It is these moments when he is able to put aside his lightsaber and simply be with her. It saddened him that so many generations of Jedi cast aside the mere notion of love for fear of the emotions it brings, when the purity of true love can overcome even the darkest days.

As they kissed so deeply and lastingly, his hands came around her back to undo her lace bra, watching as it came off. Bundling it up into his hand so it would not get lost underneath the waves, he stepped back towards the beach behind him, taking her with him until they could lay down in the splashing waves. He lays her down on her back and gets on top of her, his lips now making their way down her neck and chest to find her breasts, at the same time his hands explored the softness of her flesh.

[member="Coci Heavenshield"]

Parted lips hungrily kiss him, her love for her husband intense and has been from the moment they met only to grow stronger with time. Open and exposed is her heart, letting him in so he can dwell in it completely, every thing she is, is his and equally he belongs to her. It is a love in extreme as they devour each other in it, both spiritually as well as physically. It is the only time when they are truly free.

She felt the warm sand press against her back as he laid her down, his weight bearing down on her as they began to make love. His every touch on her body ignited the flames of passion and set fire through her veins. It had been far to long since they felt the freedom of this, to let go and demonstrate their wanting for each other. A battle of wills will fight for it, he would not have his own way, her passion equally as strong. The rolling crashing waves did little to equal them in power and strength in this moment, only the gentle lapping water would ride around their bodies adding fuel to the fire.

Coci did not care for time, nor would it hinder them as the day marched on. The two lovers locked in love beyond this world ..

The sun was setting, and already there were stars adorning the darker corners of the skies above. The two lovers had by now made it up the beach to dry off and get dressed, and so they lay together once more on the picnic blanket gazing up at the stars. It was warm out still, yet Thurion made sure to keep her close at all times, and had even draped his jacket over her shoulders. "Look," he spoke softly and pointed toward the sky. "That one's Voss, and over there is Dac. Tabaqui, Arda, Zygerria, Etti IV..."

His finger pointed to each star as he named them, and finally he settled on the biggest and brightest of them all. His head turned to gaze into Coci's black eyes, sparkling with the last light of the day. "Midvinter," he whispered as his hand came back down to tuck itself in underneath his head. "I wonder what Théo and Nina are busy doing right now, or where they are doing whatever they're doing. I wonder how my brother and Kära are, with their little one experiencing things we take for granted for the first time."

Thurion paused as he then gazed back up toward the stars. "But most of all, I wish father was still with us..."

[member="Coci Heavenshield"]

As she lay resting against his body on picnic blanket, her eyes followed hand pointing out all the systems above them. Most of which she knew very well having step on the soil of them. Coci drew in a deep breath still much in bliss just to be with him in this moment alone. As he spoke about the family, what they might be doing in this time she too wondered as her eyes gazed upon the stars. Théo and Nina young adults now, grown up into a galaxy full of dangers and beauty, uncertainity of life and life experience now before them and they will be alright. Thurion and Coci had given them all they could to be able to be the best they could be within themselves and with their abilities. It was up to them now, to guide their own lives but naturally Thurion and Coci would always be there for them if needed. Never does one not stop being a parent, never does one stop worrying.

He spoke of Thrand, how he was missing him, and he would until the day Thurion joins him in the Ancient Halls of the Gods. But this does not lessen the fact that Thrand is no longer with them now, even if Sun God, one can't through your arms around him now. "I miss him too, we always will", she turned to look up into his face before placing a kiss on his lips as he continued to gaze among the stars to Midvinter. "But now you and Thyrian are the figure heads of the family with myself and Kära, the four of us are the foundations of the family now. And .. can you image what Thrand would say to you if he caught you here like this?".

She pushed off the blanket letting his jacket slide off her shoulders and she propped herself up with a hand in the sand. "He would say.. ", she cleared her throat. "My boy, get your arse off the ground it is dragging behind you". Well of course Coci's impression was woeful and Thrand would most likely not say that, or maybe he would, but she wanted to make her husband smile. She gathered the jacket again before slinging over her shoulders and laying down over Thurion to hide them from the world under it. "Don't .. don't be sad. He is with Sarah now".
[member="Thurion Heavenshield"]

Coci's god-awful attempt at puffing up her chest and mimic the late great High King was too hilarious to even picture, let alone experience firsthand. Thurion's expression immediately turned to a big grin as a boyish giggle escaped him. When she then settled on top of him with his jacket isolating the two from the worries of the world outside, his laughter ebbed out to be replaced with his trademark smile. Leaning his head forward just a little their noses touched.

"How could I feel sad when I have a woman like you making sure I'm not," he spoke with the utmost love. "Father is at peace, I know it; he has earned his rest." His hand sought hers and he brought it to his lips for a kiss upon her wedding ring. "No matter what happens, no matter what twists and turns life will take us through, know that I will always love you and be yours to love, my Coci. In the presence of all the gods, I swear it to you." There simply were not enough words, and so he would not waste them further. Instead he placed his lips upon hers and let his kiss do the talking.

It is moments like these one cherishes for a life time, the simplicity of being together with not a soul in sight and the world to themselves. The nature around them seemed to delight in this as well, as if sensing the harmony between two souls and the night whispered upon the breeze with a message of tranquility. It was not even the force, but the machinations of their love that set the scene around them. Life can change in the blink of an eye, set the heart, body and soul to turmoil in that instant, but one thing the galaxy does not have, one thing only she has that will see her through anything, is him.

"And may the Gods witness my love, and heed my words. That I shall love you until the end of time, and into the next. Beyond this life". She spoke her words after his deep kiss had ended and had left her in no doubt of his love for her. Only mere inches away from him, her finger tips caressed his beard, relishing his growth she loves so much.

"You know I have never seen your chin?", her head tilted as her eyes looked along the line of his jaw. Strange how the little things matter so much, or at least in times like these when they can be given credience. However, her silliness made her smile as she watched his form on his lips, that smile that kills her every time he gives it to her. But at this moment, the breeze washed over her body as she lay atop him and sent a chill through her body, the cool of the night soothing the skin.
[member="Thurion Heavenshield"]

Her comment regarding his chin again had him chuckle as his fingers caressed her cheek and neck. Even after all these years her beauty astounded him, how every line of her face and every faded scar only added to it. His fingertips now grazed her rosy lips, barely brushing against them before he leans forward to plant his lips upon hers. As they kiss he swiftly trades places with her, putting her on her back with him shielding her from the chilly breeze.

"Where's a cave when you need one," he asked between kisses, letting out another chuckle before their lips met once more. It had been where their romance had been allowed to blossom, and where he'd experienced his first-ever romantic encounter. He thanked the Force and all the gods for that night, their first night together.

Following their everlasting kiss he moves down a bit to rest his head upon her shoulder, wrapping his arms around her. "I don't know where I'd be without you, Coci. I don't know who I'd be."

[member="Coci Heavenshield"]

Her fingers played gently with his long golden hair as he lay resting against her body and for a moment she stared into the nights sky watching the stars twinkle while she contemplated his words. Life before Thurion, that seemed like a different life time ago. A young girl hell bent on making a difference in the galaxy, striving to be the best she could and stubborn in her resolve and .. alone. The shadows had been her friend, her contant companion for many years and the shadows were comfortable, comforting but cold. And she had let them take her. They had met but briefly on a mission with the Silvers, when they first began to settle on Voss, they had not even spoke or at least very few words, a newly minted master and a strong minded knight were there, that day to duty. But the next time .. ? It was simply extraordinary.

"I would be lost", she all but whispered, and she knew that to be true, the shadows would have swallowed her up entirely. "Had you not found me". Coci drew in a deep breath. "Or did I find you?", she asked with a little hint of mirth trying to lighten the mood. And then a broard smile spread across his lips as she remembered his comment about the cave. He had saved her life from the falling rocks, offered his own in its stead, a Jedi's sacrifice in its truest form but the force had grander things in mind for the both. And then .. it was her turn to save his, to help him survive the cold wet night in the pounding storm.

The morning however, offered up a different day, as the storm passed and the sun returned. A new life for them both started with the dawn as love flourished within the walls of the cave. "Cave you say? .. I might have a solution to that". It was now she leaned her head forward to look upon his face. "Come on, lets pack up our things and come with me".

As soon as the job of packing up was done, Coci took Thurion by the hand and lead him back up the beach. Before long, they stood in front of the closed down restaurant in which they had their first meal together. "You keep watch, I'll break in the window".
[member="Thurion Heavenshield"]

"It's a beach," he told her as they got up, brushing off a few grains of sand. "I doubt there's a cave arou-- Oh..." He was suddenly made very aware of Coci's intentions as they headed straight for the deserted restarurant, with her tugging at his hand to come along. A sense of mischief lay heavy in the air, as it often times did whenever they were left on their own for too long. It never failed to make him feel decades younger, and he loved her for it.

Watching his wife easily and discreetly break open one of the windows and slip inside, Thurion just kind of stood looking around him to make sure no-one was looking. His fear of being caught was quickly put at ease when he discovered the entire area to be completely desolate. Coci could not longer be heard from the inside, not even her footsteps. She was too good at the stealth, sometimes.

"Coci," he called out to her with hushed tone. When no reply came, Thurion decided to step around the corner of the building to the front door. He gently knocked on the door, hoping she would answer. When no reply came, he grabbed hold of the door knob and gave what he considered a light push. The result of it was that the entire front door came loose, ripped right off its hinges with a loud creak. So the Jedi Master stood awkwardly keeping it from falling over just as his wife's face appeared out of the darkness.

"I wasn't... uh, shoddy workmanship, this..." came his terribly awkward explanation.

[member="Coci Heavenshield"]

As she jumped through the window, she jumped into darkness. And a mess. The room she had entered was a storage room still full of crates and boxes, the food that had once been in them spoiled and decayed until dust. The place have every appearance of being abandoned, for what reason she did not know, but it was ashame nonetheless. She remembered the place being vibrant and filled with many people enjoying each others company, and a relaxed. The reason Thurion had choosen it in the first place. The food was good too, nothing palacial but good.

The force guided her through the place, allowing her to see and not walk into walls but her eyes, with large pupils drank in what little light there was bleeding in from the rising moon. They never fail in showing her the way, the black pools of her eyes, a talent she has had since birth to be able to see more then most and as she entered the main part of the restaurant the aura of heat seeped under the door and she knew it very well. It was Thurion.

But before she could answer his call, the door fell apart, forced open with his hand and on the door step bathed in moon light stood her husband somewhat surprised with his own strength. Coci did not try and fight what erupted from her, and a laugh came from her mouth. She went to asist him with the door to rest it against the wall, not that he needed her help, but her body still trembled from the laughter. "Remind me never to take you on a mission that requires silence". She is teasing him of course, as he is the only person in the entire galaxy she would trust to have at her side in a time of peril. But her face turned one of thought as she looked at him, as his gestures in this moment reminded her of Thrand, his father.

She turned to take a look at the room, the furniture had not been moved but dust had settled over the place and it was cold. "Well, not exactly our cave", she smiled.
