HK-42
Grievous II
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
The B2-S Sniper Battle Droid was specifically built to remove the need of a separate sniper rifle with a standard droid out of the picture, and instead, replace it with a designated sniper unit. This way, more resources can be moved and mobilized towards other things that the army these droids may be a part of need more of or are more important to designate time and resources to. The Twin Wrists blasters have been replaced with a single, E-5s Sniper Rifle attached to the right arm. The Droid's sensors are capable of 8 times magnification, allowing the unit to zoom in to its target and have a clearer picture of where and when to shoot. The Standard Targeting computer has been enhanced with an upgraded variant of the CoMar Tri-Tracker Chip, allowing its effective range to be doubled for its targeting.

SPECIAL FEATURES
- The programming of the B2-S is meant to have it pick out the best available sniper positions, and utilize them to a lethal degree of efficiency.
- Upgraded targeting: Due to the installation of an upgraded version of the CoMar Tri-Tracker Chip, the effective range the Droid is able to utilize is moved from 1.5 Kilometers to 3.3 Kilometers, effectively doubling its potential targeting range. Though this does not extend the Range of the rifle itself past the 1.5 Kilometer limit, it does allow the droid to coordinate the shot better and with better precision.
- Gyroscopes: Like the B2-P Pummeler, this unit has Gyroscopes built into its body to keep its balance at acute angles, but unlike the reasoning for the Pummeler, the reasoning for the Gyroscopes is to allow the droid to account for its arm sniper's recoil and fire off more accurate shots if it needs to fire more than one.
Weaknesses:
- Basically well-known template: With the use of the B2 Super Battle Droid during the Clone Wars and afterward, the template used to make this and many other variants of the droid are well known, allowing the weak points of the same model to be addressed, although some of these weak points have been fixed and upgraded to prevent failure on some units.
- No Close Quarters Combat Capabilities: Due to the programming of this unit aimed specifically at long range combat, this droid can be easily taken down by someone at close quarters. It will attempt to kill its close up attacker with its rifle, but it has less of a chance to successfully hit its designated target up close than far away.
