To keep the usefulness of the B2-CA going, the designers at the Gahenn Droid Foundry decided to make a variant of that unit called the B2-CS, a sniper version of the B2-CA. It shares almost all of the same functions, strengths, and weaknesses of the B2-CA, with some of its own. Its weapons have been replaced with 2 E-5S Sniper rifles mounted on to the wrists of the machine, and it has a new head design that allows the unit to see 360 degrees around itself, and it even has new Heat and Night Vision sensors, allowing it to see either during blizzards, during the night, or both.

- The droid has the same upgraded targeting computer as the B2-S Sniper Battle Droid, but has some added Heat and Night Vision Sensors to assist with seeing in different weather conditions.
- The Wrist mounted Blaster Cannons that the B2-CA was equipped with have been replaced with 2 slightly modified E-5S Sniper Rifles, only modified to keep the barrels warm to prevent frost from building up on them.
- The newly designed head makes it more streamlined, and can rotate 360 degrees around, allowing for full view of an area.
