SPECIAL FEATURES
  • N/A
Strengths:
  • The droid is capable of shooting down most if not all Small to Medium sized Starfighters that it targets to shoot down
  • The Droid's targeting computer, Processing Power, and Reaction time have all been upgraded to allow it to keep up with some of the more agile fighters, such as Interceptors, and the Droid can lock onto a ship and fire the missile at a target that is at a maximum of 4 Kilometers up.
  • This Unit can also be utilized as a last minute PDS System on Capital Ships, by magnetizing their feet and moving to key defensive positions on the outside of the ship's hull
Weaknesses:
  • This unit is unable to defend itself at close quarters, due to the lack of a right arm, and the left arm is replaced with a Single Anti-Air Missle Launcher.
  • The lack of a Right Arm entirely means that it can not do much else besides move itself to a designated position and fire the AA Missle Launcher.
  • When the Unit runs out of Missiles (about 20-30 missiles in one unit), it will need to restock at an ammo depot, or just power down until it is at an allied depot. The Only exception to this is during PDS Capital Ship assignments, where the feet will act as the loading tubes from the ship to the droid.
  • If the unit is hit with a precise enough shot, it can cause the missiles inside of the droid to detonate prematurely, destroying the droid itself and anything else around it in a 25-foot radius
DESCRIPTION
With the Lack of Defensive, Anti Air units besides heavy and slow vehicles, The B2-AA was the first of a triplet pair of Anti Air capable units, designed only to defend key locations and troop columns from any form of Starship that comes within range. The range of this unit has been marked to be at about 4 kilometers above itself, and can usually fire the missile, reload, and target another in about a timespan of 15 to 20 seconds, depending on how many units there are and how many enemy crafts are heading towards its position. The Unit has been stripped of both of its standard arms and twin wrist blasters, and they have been replaced with a single Anti-Air Missile Launcher, with Reloading capabilities. This means it is unable to defend itself at close quarters, and the missile can be shot at before it is fired by a sniper or any stray blaster bolt to cause the droid to have all its missiles prematurely explode.
