[SIZE=12pt]The B1 droid was a well designed droid for it’s purpose. A cheap and disposable soldier that could interact with humanoid weaponry and be deployed en masse. So when Warren Valik had a proof of concept he wished to work on with droids he purchased a company of the relics to experiment on. The goal was simple. Create an artificial life form that could manipulate the Force. While he considered dissecting and studying inorganic species that could use the Force, such as Tsils, Shards, and Rainbow Gems of Gallinore he settled on a much simpler solution in the mean time. Imbuing the droid with a Force Nexus. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Imbuing an object with a Force Nexus was a revitalized art after the end of the 400 years darkness. Differing effects could be imbued on swords, armors, amulets, etc, and had been by several different alchemists to create several different effects with several different triggers. The Force Nexus imbued in the B1 droid was specifically tailored to react to certain electrical impulses inherent in the droid’s circuitry. Once Valik perfected this he added a number of “dummy” commands into the droid’s programming. These commands didn’t react to any physical functionality in the droid, but instead linked certain inputs to Force Use outputs. For example putting a small current through B1-T3M3’s arm might trigger a Force push, while moving a similar current around his fingers might prompt the Nexus to pick up an object at a certain distance away, then manipulate it in different directions. [SIZE=12pt]The end result is B1-T3M3 having something akin to Force Sensitivity. While B1-T3M3 cannot ‘feel’ the Force in the way a Jedi or Sith does, he can manipulate it in combat with efficiency enough to rival either in combat. [/SIZE]

- [SIZE=12pt]The Force: B1-T3M3 is a Force artifact, having the Force imbued unto several of his parts via Sith Alchemy, in a way that mirrors a Force Nexus. This nexus responds to electrical impulses in the droid’s body, allowing it to mimic the effects of a Force User. [/SIZE]
- [SIZE=12pt]Advanced Heuristics: B1-T3M3 got a few upgrades during his advancement, allowing him much better tactical knowledge, as well as increased social awareness in comparison to the base B1 Battle Droid. B1-T3M3 is effectively independent. [/SIZE]
