- The B/N-1138 sacrifices some cargo capacity and defenses for speed & maneuverability. It carries less than the average light freighter, but makes up for it with a reliable top speed & excellent handling in atmosphere.
- Lack of cargo space makes it inefficient to use for mass transport of goods.
- Lack of any significant protection makes it an easy target outside designated shipping lanes.
The B/N-1138 is a basic freighter ripe for personalization, easily crewed by 1 to 3 people. Simple handling and ease of use makes it a reputable 'training' freighter for larger shipping corporations, as well as retaining a versatile range of usages from private couriers to small-time mom & pop deliveries. While it can certainly accommodate a lot of varied customizations, including some less-than-legal modifications, any compromise to the already-limited cargo space will sacrifice much needed room.
