  • Description: In his docile form, Azor is a large black canine with ice blue eyes and dark fur. When triggered into his sithspawn form, the flesh of his face melts and is replaced with a mix of calcified bone and durasteel that has been alchemically reinforced. Similar calcifications appear on either flank of his body. When electricity is coursing through his body, these calcifications, along with Azor’s claws, appear bright blue.

Strengths:
  • Electric: In sithspawn form, Azor’s body produces a steady current of electricity by amplifying the electrical impulses that govern his neurologic and cardiac systems. This allows Azor to discharge electricity from his body at a radius of up to 5m. Additionally, any bites or scratches from his teeth or claws will result in a release of electricity. Wherever Azor steps, a small patch of electricity will linger for a few moments before dissipating. Similarly, Azor can overload electrical equipment with a powerful enough discharge.
  • Sithspawn Treatment: Azor’s sense of smell and hearing have been enhanced beyond those of your typical canine, as has his strength and speed, to a degree. These advantages persist at the same level from his docile to sithspawn form.
  • Lightning Rod: In sithspawn form, Azor is not only immune to electrical attacks, but can absorb electricity from his surroundings. Azor does not have the same resistance to electricity or the ability to absorb it while in his docile form.
  • EMP Resistance: Azor is equipped with advanced EMP resistance. A particularly powerful EMP discharge would be needed to knock him out.

Weaknesses:
  • Close Range: Azor’s use as a combatant extends to about 5m. The further away he is from an opponent, the less deadly he is, and the easier it will be to combat him.
  • Short-Circuit: In his sithspawn form, Azor’s immunity to electricity is reliable for 24 hours. If he remains in his sithspawn form and producing electricity for 24 hours, he begins to risk neurologic and/or cardiac damage.
  • Mortal: Although enhanced to be stronger, faster, and produce more deadly acid than your average puppy, Azor is still made of flesh, bone, and blood. His calcifications offer some level of protection against assaults, but he’s still vulnerable to nearly any non-acid based attack.

  • General behavior: In his docile form, Azor is your average Corellian Shepherd. He loves walks, play time, and pets. He’s very loyal to Farah, and often takes his cues from her. When he perceives a threat to Farah, Azor will instinctively initiate his sithspawn transformation, which puts him in a far more aggressive state.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Azor and his brother, Arlo, were found on the streets of Coruscant by Farah when they were puppies. Intending to use the dogs as experiment fodder, Farah took them home with her. Malnourished as they were, Farah begrudgingly accepted that she needed to put the time and care into seeing that the brothers became healthy enough to survive her experiments, so she began to raise them on her own. It began with long nights bottle-feeding the starving puppies, treating their injuries, and tons of spacetube video searches, and ended with both Farah and the puppies growing attached to one another.

Farah didn’t have much experience with legitimate feelings of love and caring, but did not shy away from her responsibility as the sole caregiver to Azor and Arlo. She went through with her experiments, but was far more cautious about sacrificing the dog’s lives and wellbeing.

Like his brother, Azor was given an alchemized treatment designed to increase his senses of hearing and smell, as well as enhance his general speed and strength. As a result, he is more resilient than the typical Corellian Shepherd. In his sithspawn form, his face becomes encased in an alchemically enhanced calcification of bone and durasteel, which glows an electric blue while conducting electricity. These calcifications also appear on either side of his body with a ribbed appearance, and encircle Azor’s claws. Once his sithspawn form is triggered, Azor’s body becomes resistant to nearly all types of electrical attacks.

Azor’s sithspawn form can be triggered in several ways. First, it can be prompted naturally when he believes that Farah is in danger or distress. Second, Farah can initiate the sithspawn response by issuing a command via any programmable device to the collar around Azor’s neck. The collar sends an electrical signal to Azor’s brain, instigating his sithspawn transformation. Azor can be returned to his docile state through this same pathway.

Although they are sithspawn, Azor and Arlo are very loyal to Farah and she lavishes uncharacteristic levels of affection and attention on them, similar to many infatuated pet owners. In docile form, Azor and Arlo act like any typical house pets.
