Intent: To put down exactly what Ayden's holocron is and what it contains,
Development Thread: No
Manufacturer: Ayden Cater
Model: N/A
Affiliation: Ayden Cater / Independent
Modularity: Minor
Production: Unique
Material: Crystalline lattice, pressed gold
Description: The holocron that Ayden Cater made was not a single afternoon project, or even a project that spanned weeks. It is the culmination of more than four hundred years of studying, hunting, researching, and developing of various theories, both Force-related and not, as well as locations of note, items of note, and his Force abilities.

Initially made before the Gulag Virus struck, the holocron was made in the traditional cube shape of a Jedi holocron, though the corners have all been cut off making it technically a dodecahedron. Simple gold braces line the edges with thinner, intricate patterns formed on the six main faces and the eight sloped corner faces. They serve as both a focus and a rudimentary combination lock. It's impossible to ascertain from the outside exactly how long the expected combination is, rending the holocron unusable to those without the combination.

At the first level, without the combination, the holocron details his adventures and missions as a Jedi, as well as his training and abilities.

- Basic introduction and brief summary of history of Ayden Cater

- Minor notes and observations on Ataru, Djem So, and Niman
- Mission logs on Corellia, Coruscant, Alderaan, Mustafar, Naboo, Manaan, Nar Shaddaa, Tatooine, Cato Neimoidia, Hapes, and Zeltros
- Basic instruction and analysis on the three branches of the Force; Alter, Control, and Sense
- Basic instruction on Force Pull and Push
- Notes and locations of various lightsaber crystals, their properties, and understanding the purpose of different colors.
- Philosophical musings on the Force; comparing Light vs Dark, Living vs Unifying. Brief mentions of some other popular Force organizations
- A review of the works of an ancestor of Ayden's, a Jedi who later in life specialized in Force Healing. Contains basic notes and review
- A discussion with other Jedi Masters on the notion of detachment vs love in a Jedi, both in a wider application and at a personal level

With the combination, the patterns within the holocron shifts, and the light blue color turns a warm shade of viridian. When Ayden began work on this level of his holocron, the Gulag Plague had struck and the sting of losing his family was still fresh in his mind. Here he detailed his work and attempts to save those he could, his failings as a Jedi, a husband, and a father.

- Advanced instruction, notes, and observations on Makashi, with emphasis on efficiency, lightsaber designs, and dexterity vs strength
- Basic and advanced instruction, notes, and observations on Jar'kai
- Basic introduction to Alchaka, intensely personal meditation rituals.
- Instructions on the construction of a double-sided lightsaber
- Mission logs on Rhommamool, Antar, Hoth, Kashyyyk, Duro, Mandalore, Arkania, Kuat, Corellia, Polis Massa, and Thyferra
- Advanced instruction on many Alter and Control aspects of the Force
- Basic instruction, notes, and observations on the Transfer Force power
- Field reports of aftermath of the Gulag Virus outbreaks
- Basic tests attempting treatment of the virus; all failures
- A record of the passing of his wife and two of his three children.
Those strong in the Force and who know what to look for will notice a molecular pattern to the holocron. By finely manipulating the structure, an access port opens with a roughly cylindrical slot. There are two different crystals that can be set in the slot; their exact location known only to Ayden.

The first details his more intensive attempts to combat the plague, including reports of testing on himself as he seemed to have an unknown type of immunity to the plague. Later, it also includes more modern entries detailing his work. The color of the holocron when accessing this section shifts into a mellow viridian.

- Analysis of the re-emerging Sith presence in the galaxy following stability after the Four Hundred Years of Darkness and their effect on the long-term stabilization plans

The second is considerably darker in aura. The light blue color of the holocron shifts and wavers, turning mostly a muted gray with bursts of red in the center. This hidden area of the holocron deals with the darker aspects of Ayden's research and thoughts
