Avornia in the ancient past was a planet warred over by Jedi and Sith because of what was rumored to be on the planet, a fountain that could heal disease. This was just rumor, however. Jedi and Sith, Imperial and Rebel alike fought over this planet. Eventually the planet was left to rot when both sides discovered that the planet didn’t have such treasure. Yet, the inhabitants of the planet were all wiped out and thus, the planet was left abandoned. Eventually Imperials came to the planet again with Wookie and Zeltron slaves.
Around the time that the Gulag Plague hit, several hundred Narrikians managed to flee their homeworld in a ship that they had managed to get operational of the Empire. With the ship they chose a world that was isolated and well outside of where the Empire had deployed the Gulag Plague. Once there, they landed and began building. They battled long and hard, managing to take over the planet. Eventually the radiation mutated the Avornians into what they are today, and so now, here we are.

- Average Lifespan: 2000 Years
- Estimated Population: 30 Billion
- Description: The Avornians are winged bipeds with scaly skin that stand about 5”7-5”8 in terms of height. The males have dark green scales, while the women have light pink. They usually have a sort of “Force Aura” around them that details what side of the Force they most use. The Avornians appear to be stuck up and arrogant to anyone they usually meet.

- Breathes: Oxygen Rich Atmosphere.
- Average Height of Adults: 5”7-5”8
- Average Length of Adults: 6-12 Feet Long for their wings.
- Skin color: Green, Red, Gold, Silver, Black, Purple, Orange.
- Hair color: Usually a color opposite that of their scales.
- Distinctions: The Avornians are winged bipeds with scaly skin that stand about 5”7-5”8 in terms of height. The males have dark green scales, while the women have light pink. They usually have a sort of “Force Aura” around them that details what side of the Force they most use. The Avornians appear to be stuck up and arrogant to anyone they usually meet. The young ones generally aren’t able to control the Force, and “surge” whenever they try to use the Force, that’s 100-300 years of age in the Avornians. The ones on the first land mass have “bat-like” wings, while the ones on the second have more feathery wings. The ones on the third land mass have more scaled over wings that somehow support their ability to fly.

- Atu - The Atu are feather winged humanoids that look like the rest of them despite that. They generally live in floating cities, and read / are pacifists most of the time. They’re also paranoid though. They are attuned to the Lightside of the Force.
- Evor - The Evor are the more bat-winged individuals and hunt their food themselves, being more carnivores than they are Omnivorous. They’re also more aggressive, and more attuned to the Dark Side of the Force for the most part.
- Esul: Esul are the land dwelling ones, born without the wings of the others. They’re obsessed with getting back into the sky somehow. They tend to be more free spirited and wild than the others.

Strengths:
- Quick Learners: The Avornians are Quick Learners when it comes to the Force, Technology, or other subjects.
- Quick Healers: The Avornians unless you cut off their wings have about a recovery time of 4/5ths that of most organic species from injuries.
- Able to fly: They can fly through the air thanks to their wings.
Weaknesses:
- Hurts to Converse: The Avornians are caused physical pain whenever they try to speak as they are more telepathic than they would be natural communicators.
- Surges: Surges when they are young are enough to cause them severe bodily harm with the Force should they try to use it.
- Wings: Their wings, regardless of the race are very sensitive to pleasure or pain.
- Allergic to Red Meat: They’re allergic to Red Meat, it’s fatal to them in fact.
- Loss of Wings: Cutting off their wings kills them instantly, and it causes them agonizing pain as well.
CULTURE
- Diet: Omnivores - Their diets mainly consist of Fish, Rice, and Vegetables.
- Communication: They primarily use telepathic communication to communicate with themselves. They prefer it. When communicating with outsiders, they use verbal.
- Technology level: Advanced but Outdated. They do not have access to the Holonet, and their technology is way behind what most people would consider the norm.
- Religion/Beliefs:
- General behavior: The Avornians are constantly at war with one another because of the differences of opinion they have about the Outsiders. The Esul are fine with them, being laid back though they wouldn’t allow them anywhere super important. The Evor want to kill all the Outsiders or enslave them to hard labor because of what the Empire did to them with the Gulag Plague in the past. The Atu generally couldn’t care less so long as their peaceful meditation isn’t disturbed. However, all of them are Xenophobic, and have tendencies to hoard their possessions, and guard them like psychotic magpies unless you’ve got something more interesting to offer them that they’ve never seen before.
