OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create Myra's bonded dragon, an important aspect of Tygerii noble society
  • Image Credit: I commissioned vishap.art for this piece
  • Role: War Mount / Pet
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: N/A
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: 178 years
  • Force Sensitivity: Force User
  • Species: Tyrant Dragon
  • Appearance: Averillatikun is a giant Tyrant Dragon, purpose bred for war. Hulking muscles bulge from underneath Averillatikun's wirey frame and titanium-enfused scales, and the beast's great pink eyes only hint farther at the ferocity and vigor within.
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Averillatikun (Translated from Tygerii it reads "Wine Wing")
  • Loyalties: Myra
  • Personality: Some may call Averillatikun lazy, but a creature of such size and weight must conserve its energy. No one would describe Averillatikun as an ascetic however, she demands comfort, fine meals, and all the comforts she knows as she lazes about picking at gilded trinkets from the great piles of wealth given to her to hoard. While loyal Averillatikun can be stubborn, pulling away from direct commands to follow what she believes to be a better coarse of action.
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Combat Function: Averillatikun is a great flying beast, capable of tearing atmospheric fighters and starfighters to pieces should she be able to catch them. They are meant for conflict, to tear enemies out of the sky and spew acid on those below.
  • Combat Capability:
    • Teeth Like Swords, Claws Like Spears: Averillatikun great teeth and claws are similarly infused with titanium as her scales, giving them incredible durability and piercing power. Combined with the bulk and might of her muscle allows her to rip through many common metals in the galaxy.
    • Shock of Her Tail Like a Thunderbolt: A whip from Averillatikun's tail is incredibly quick, giving a horrific sonic crack as it moves. The impact is similarly devastating, sending the average person flying dozens of feet and usually killing them if unprotected.
    • Breath of Death: Averillatikun is one of few Tyrant Dragons with a unique mutation where one of the chemicals needed to produce the Tyrant Dragon's iconic fire breath is not made within the beast's body. Instead the remaining chemicals are mixed together to create a powerful acid. This ability is further enhanced by supplements fed to Averillatikun by her handlers, further increasing the damage of this liquid death.
  • Defenses:
    • Scales like Tenfold Shields: All tyrant dragons include various metals in their diet, this metal being incorporated into their scales to make a formidable defense. While most feral dragons eat whatever they can find creating a patchwork mess of strong and weakspots across their body, as a domesticated dragon Averillatikun was purpose fed the best metal her handlers could source. For Averillatikun, this was titanium. This strong and light material usually used for starfighter construction has given Averillatikun incredible defense against small arms and very good defense against larger vehicle-mounted variants of common weaponry.
    • Battle Harness: When preparing for battle Averillatikun is further kitted with a gilded harness with phrik plating to protect vital areas of her anatomy. This harness further includes a simple shield generator to give her further survivability. This harness does take an hour or more to properly fit to the dragon, and is thus really only useful when the battle is known of ahead of time.
  • Force Abilities (Force User Units Only):
    • Force Sense: All Tyrant Dragons rely on the force to sense their prey, and Averillatikun is no different. She can sense the vague location of living things for several miles around her, and more precise location within a mile.
    • Basic Telepathy: Averillatikun, due to her age and slowly growing more proficient with the force, is able to communicate very basic concepts using imagery and vague notions via the force. This is mostly used, much to her handler's torment, to demand food.
  • Role: War Mount / Pet
  • Size: Large
  • Weight: 21 metric tons
  • Mount Experience/Training: Expert: While especially well trained, Averillatikun's stubborn nature and occasional disobeying of orders for what she believes to be better stops her from being considered excellent
  • Maneuverability: Averillatikun is not particularly maneuverable, especially on the ground. While flying she requires great round turns and cannot fly in one place instead needing to circle a point to stay 'still'.
  • Speed: 70kmh in the air, 25kmh on the ground when 'jogging'. Too heavy to really run.
  • Locomotion: Quadrapedal, Winged Flying
  • Passenger Capacity: Several dozen
  • Cargo Capacity: 3 metric tons

Strengths:
  • Beast of War: Tyrant Dragons are the pride of Tygeria, having been purposefully bred for war from their already impressive natural forms. This long history of husbandry has also given the Tygerii a vast knowledge on how to bulk the creature's up to maximum size through diet, exorcise, and natural supplements to create truely terrifying beasts. Averillatikun is no different, her size, age, training, and shaped biology have made her a devastating beast of war capable of participating in modern conflicts dominated by mechanized warfare and technological weaponry.
  • Tyrannical: Many rightfully find Averillatikun intimidating due to her nature as a Tyrant Dragon, but when she is trying they find her horrifying. She is able to exude an aura of terror to her enemies using her limited telepathy, causing small untrained armies to flee from her after a proper roar.
Weaknesses:
  • Big Size, Little Energy: Due to Averillatikun's size and weight she cannot exert herself for long. During battle she may be able to glide above the enemy and rain acid down upon them, but more than that such as ripping vehicles apart or charging into enemy lines can wear her out rather quickly. This requires her to leave the battle field semi-often to rest, feed, and drink in order to regain her energy.
  • Hungry Hungry Hipp- Dragon: One does not simply keep a Tyrant Dragon like any other pet. The amount of food required to sustain one's bulk and health is great and they require near constant care. Each dragon has a team of caregivers who see to their needs. Needing to ration food or deprive the dragon of frequent care can quickly destroy the dragon's health. Kill the dragon's support staff, kill the dragon; a fairly common Tygerii tactic.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Each Tygerii dynasty is expected to keep dragons. A Tyrant Dragon is how one maintains legitimacy, as how can you be expected to enforce your dynasty's will if you lack the flying muscle to back up your threats and claims. The Thaeleon dynasty kept such dragons, much to their own detriment. The family was effectivly destitute attempting to care for Averillatikun and her seven offspring, their other dragons having been sold or given away as dowry to keep the dynasty afloat or to garner good will with dynastic allies. When Myra usurped the previous head of the dynasty, she gained a legitimate claim to his dragon: Averillatikun. The bonding was not easy, Averillatikun put off by the strange scent of Myra's Sangnir blood. But Myra's patience and showering Averillatikun with gold and silver gifts slowly won the dragon over to being bonded. The ritual to do so, an ancient Tygerii practice overseen by their highest religious figures, cemented a bond between Myra and Averillatikun that has made them more connected than many other living creatures in the galaxy.
