Average weight for armors.

Just looking over armors, and I realize that I don't know what the average weight for armors is.


Do we have a reference for this type of thing? I tried to look around but couldn't find it.


Like I know beskar and phrik are pretty heavy --- but what is the average for light beskar, medium, or heavy?

Same with durasteel or plasteel?

I looked around wookieepedia but it seems a bit confusing to me since different materials weight different.

Most mandalorian armor is between 12kg and 18kg according to the wiki. (So things made with durasteel & beskar)

I'd assume light armor is between 6kg and 10kg.

I know Beskar is grossly low in weight on wookie. For a dense heavy metal 30lbs or about 15kgs of armor is light.

Phrick Is usually between 5kg and 11kg because it's light.

Durasteel should be similar to RL steel.

Plasteel should be similar to hard plastic.

*Note a suit of medieval armor could be 200lbs or approximately 100kgs.
