This gun was meant to be the perfect piece of weaponry for it's easy assembly and lighter weight, meant for the less legal side of the law, the minds at Automatron thought on assassinations, on hiding things on tight spaces, in a gun that anyone could use in any sort of situation. The needler was meant to carry most of the darts in the galaxy, being those laced with poison or not, however, what the makes it up with its accessibility it lacks in its stopping power for its a well known fact that needlers are incapable of piercing through thick armors and are meant only to be used against lighter targets.
