SPECIAL FEATURES
Adegan crystals were one of the more well known family of crystals that were used for a very long time with the Jedi Order. Variations of them have sprung up. Some being barely usable for training sabers, while others can be used for full fledged, and a rare variation that can cool tempers and skins. However, over the time that the Je'daii have been spending on Aurum, they have only just scratched the surface on what the planet of Aurum, and the Meissa System has in store for them.
One of these items are a very rare version of the well know Adegan crystals. Named after the planet they were first found upon, Aurunic Crystals are so rare, and valuable, a handful of Pontite crystals is barely worth the price of one of these Aurunic Crystals.
Having a surprising high tensile and shear strength, and overall resistant to Kinetic damage, the crystals however fall short in the energy department. A concentrated laser cutter could easily cut the crystal to the desired size and shape. As well as the crystals being absorbent of electric currents and pulses. So much so, that the crystals if put under too much stress from energy will begin to melt. While it will melt, it won't bubble.
Rumored to inspire and invigorate those who happen to be lucky enough to get a hold of one, a rare few within the Je'daii order have used a method of Bleeding to reverse the effects causing rage inducing effects and give them negative emotions. While ether use is not looked down upon, it is not completely approved with the bleeding of crystals due to the rage inducing effects. They fear that someone could make a lightsaber that could tip the scale between someone learning how to combat and learn of the darkness, rather than becoming one with it.

SPECIAL FEATURES
- High Kinetic resistances - Including Shear, and Tensile
- Used for Lightsabers, Force Imbued Items, or even jewelry.
- Can inspire and invigorate the user.
- When Bled, Can induce rage, and feelings of hatred.
- Mohs's #11: As some crystals are fairly strong, there are exceptions like this where the crystals have such a high Tensile and sheer strength, that tools normally used for any other crystal would dull twice as fast. Meaning that these crystals are surprisingly very resilient to kinetic impacts and other physical forces.
- Bi-polar traits: While a lightsider can attune the lightsaber very easily and have a very small effect upon the user of being inspired and invigorated despite the odds against them, those who instead choose to change their crystal through the process of Bleeding, can get a different effect. Possibly inducing them into a Rage much like the ability through the force, and provide negative emotions as power. Thus as those within the Je'daii Order can use either situation for the individual who chooses to make their weapon with these crystals.
- Lightsaber, Pendant, and Jewels: These crystals can be used in just the same way as Adegan crystals normally would. Lightsabers, Force imbued blades, jewelry and the like.
- Energy is a No Go: While the crystals are very hard and sturdy to physically breaking or being damaged, the crystals however take other forms of energy in a very negative light. Being susceptible to outright melting from lightsabers and being slowly pelted with any kind of laser weapons. Thus refining them, or cutting them to fit will require some kind of focused laser or energy.
- Lighting Rod: As per the crystals major weakness to energy based items, The crystals are also lightning rods due to this. They are superb conductors, however due to the crystalline structure, they can't be refined into electrical devices other than lightsabers and the like due to the possibility of the charge being too powerful and melting the crystal.
- Exclusive: Adegan crystals are rather difficult to find. Even more so for the Aurunic series of crystals that are found only upon the planet of Aurum. Found deep within the cave systems upon the planet, one can find these crystals by combing through the various tunnels. With these crystals that are only found on Aurum, and are rare to begin with, they are much harder to find than their Pontite cousins.
