Description:
The SV-302 Aurora-class Frigate. Codenamed 'Valkyrie', is an unique ship made specifically for Jared Ovmar, Lord of the Fringe and Master of Santhe Corporation. It was Jared's wish to have a ship that could be used as a mobile command center, from which he could oversee battles without actually being on the front lines.
Trading off firepower for speed, the ship is one of the fastest ships out there. A lot of credits have been invested into the engines of the ship, its speed was granted through expensive and experimental tech. Hence its unique nature.
Because of its already expansive nature and support-orientated role, the ship, by itself, would not pose a significant threat for capital ships and the sort.
Realizing that the nerfed weaponry and presumed command role could make the ship a target, Jared ordered to make the ship as durable as possible. This is the reason why the hull was made of the expensive alloy Alusteel and the view-ports of Glassteel.
Furthermore, through his position on the Fringe Confederation High Council, Jared has access to TibannaX facilities. This allowed him to install TibannaX-fueled engines, which do not burn in the visible spectrum and prevented people from tracking the ship through its exhaust.
Everything to give the otherwise support-orientated ship an edge, over the more powerful assault ships.
