CORPS OF HEAVENLY PUNISHMENT:
In Atrisian Basic they are known as the Tenchūgumi - Corps of Heavenly Punishment - but, in Galactic Basic they are the Tenchu Corps. Born as a successor organization to the venerable Yovshin Swordsmen, the Tenchu Corps are the Emperor’s and Imperial Court’s paramilitary police and battle force
comprised of Force-Wielding swordsmen/women.
Trained in the ancient arts of the Yovshin Swords Style - each Tenchu Swordstrooper is a master in Jar'kai dual saber style as well as masters of blade melee and hand-to-hand martial arts. In addition, they are trained in the ways of the Force but, from the curriculum and purposes of Atrisian Arts. Not just talented in the art of the blade and Force, as a paramilitary police they are also trained in precise use of blasters and firearms. All this molds them into a lethal, well-trained, well-disciplined and highly loyal fighting force.

TRAINING AND CURRICULUM:
Those who join the Tenchu Corps begin a rigorous training and curriculum of Saber Styles, Force Techniques, Warrior Ettiquette and Hand-to-Hand Martial Arts. This entire process is known as the Way of the Five Rings. Each "Ring" encompasses a virtue that must be honed along with skills.
This Rings are the following: Xia (Ring of Chivalry), Yi (Ring of Righteousness), Li (Ring of Virtues), Zhong (Ring of Loyalty), and Chou (Ring of Justice). Each ring comes with its own training and specific skills taught. Together they become the Way of the Five Rings meditative mantra which is repeated by Swordstroopers when chanelling the Force, like a spell, - XiaYiLiZhongChou.
In terms of skills taught - the curriculum is a hybridization of Jedi and Yovshin study. As its founding master Chief General Zanza was a Galactic Alliance Jedi Master, she brought with her the teachings of the Jedi Order (mainly those of the Saber Forms). However these forms were added to by traditional Yovshin Sword Arts.
Those who take on the Way of the Five Rings become especially powerful in the following saber/martial art skills:
Once an initiate begins training they follow through the ranks of a Swordstrooper - these ranks are comparable to the Jedi Order's (i.e. Padawan, Knight, Master). The ranks go as follows:
Every Butai is commanded by a Da Xia Swordstrooper - who is given the honorary title of Taisho - Swordstrooper Captain.

The Tenchu Corps answer only to the Emperor and are sworn to protect the throne from threats internal and external. Their primary role is policing, counter-insurgency, and Imperial Household security. However, on occasion they can be deployed to the battlefield, leading Atrisian Troopers into battle and providing protection from other Force-Users, and such particular threats.
The Tenchu Corps are divided into various Swords Corps (Butai). Each Butai has its own name, culture, specific role, and command. The Command Butai, known as the Chujo-Ken Butai (Swords of the Sun God Chujo) is led by the Tenchu Corps’s Chief General- the former Galactic Alliance Jedi Master

One of the more prestigious Butai is the Zuru Kage Butai lead by the Tenchu Corps Lord Commander, The Crane Lord of Atrisia - Xian Zuru. This Butai acts as the field commander for all the other Butai, taking commands from the Chief General and operationalizing them across all other Butai.
