STRENGTHS
(Armoured Genius): Kain has a natural talent and ability to remove himself from a tactical situation and play out the best possible route to destroy his enemy with maximum force and aggression.
(Loyal): The empire has allowed him to prove everything and lift his name out of mediocrity, he would rather be dead than an honourless traitor.
WEAKNESSES
(Low-born): Athan has grown out of mediocrity in the army, even grasping his first command position at 32. However, his family was middle class at best and Athan had never fit in with the upper classes and aristocracy in older postings and at the imperial academy.
(Ruthless): The empire has no place for weakness if a civilian or two has to die for the greater good… Then so be it.

Would don either imperial dress uniform of the Imperial Army else donning his battle dress uniform of a main breastplate and commander's helmet. A captain’s insignia perched in position.
BIOGRAPHY:
Athan was born on the planet of Anaxes to a family of primarily refiners and miners. His mother, however, had broken from this pattern as an unusually talented analyst becoming eventually employed by the Senator of said planet. This position took the young woman to Coruscant where she would eventually meet and marry a chief weapons systems sergeant aboard the galactic republic’s ships of the line. However, upon the shift in powers over the years leading forth both fled to the empire where they had their first of seven children. Athan Kain.
As a child, his mannerisms would be so mild and behaved it would cause worry among others at social meetings however it never shifted. Moving into Adolescence the boy began to take an interest in following his father’s military history. He would stay up late into the night to read on great battles of old and new, Hoth, Endor, Jakku. It fascinated him to the point where his appointment to the imperial academy was a dream come true.
The academy was not kind to Athan. His excellence at the practical application and charismatic ability to persuade others showed all the right signs of leadership within his development however his academic ability lacked what was required to meet top marks in the written tests which defined so much of the academy. Furthermore, his lack of rich parents didn’t do him any help either. Alas, hard work tended to prevail and landed him streamed for the army and later after his phase two training set him for a career within the armored regiments.
Early deployment (Junior Lieutenant): His first true deployment was to an outpost in one of the more rundown and unfriendly imperial controlled systems. His officers above him all classically trained from the core worlds with more connections than Athan could count. They did, however, lack tactical knowledge, believing the overpowering ability of AT-ST and AT-AT walkers would be sufficient to destroy all insurgents. Ignorant of any advice from an underling like Athan they would march in line and blast from long range to attack guerilla forces. The campaign led to a drawn out 6-year deployment in which Athan eventually gained promotion with a new faster and deadly lightning strike tactics utilizing only starfighters and the lightweight AT-ST’s.
(Senior Lieutenant): Being moved from the backward with his newfound promotion Athan was given a direct command role over two AT-AT vehicles aboard the front line task-force. Within this period Lieutenant Kain saw hundreds of stormtroopers from his vehicle killed in conflict with civilians hiding the murderers. His remorse for people he once saw as innocents in need of protection became the enemy. With this newfound lack of care for civilian damages, Kain’s efficiency rate rose by 65%. He also cut his losses in half not losing a single more walker after adopting tactics of overwhelming an enemy from encirclement with absolute firepower.
After being commended for the latest conquest the high command wished to see a use of this lightning tactic take more of an effect in the vanguard of imperial might. A promotion to captain and his own company of modern retrofitted S-2 FireHawke Repulsor tanks it is now upon Captain Kaine to prove his worth if he is to indeed evade the stagnation of rank and glory. But Kaine has his chance, and one chance is all that is needed to end wars.
SHIP:
While only using naval ships for transport his own deployment of S - 2 FireHawke are most carried by heavy imperial landing shuttles which can sit within an Imperial Star-Destroyer of most classes down to even victory classes.
The FireHawke itself was a relic from the imperial era of long past however it has been retrofitted with modern engines allowing top speeds of up to 200kmh a downgrade from the S-1 however with engines being upgraded the power efficiency allows for a Custom-fitted deflector system similar to that of a small fighter craft. Its armor is made primarily from Reinforced Durasteel as to keep weight down to increase speed and mobility while maintaining a composite approach to move through wooded areas.
Armaments of the tank allow for fitting of a rapid firing heavy laser cannon similar to that of the AT-AT’s chin-mounted weapons. Also being fitted are two medium repeating blasters for infantry and light armor. Kain’s personal command vehicle “Rapier-1”.
