Aselia's smile widened slightly at that, though she made no immediate move to disentangle herself. Adelle's warning earned a quiet huff of amusement, her fingers still resting lightly at the back of the other woman's head.
"Questionable is a matter of perspective," she said. "I prefer to think of them as interesting decisions."
There was an ease to the words that hadn't been there earlier, the tension of everything they had just admitted giving way to something gentler. Adelle had lifted her head, but Aselia stayed close, blue eyes holding hers.
At the mention of the Halberd, her gaze flicked toward the swoop and then back again.
"We could finish it," she said, considering the option for all of a second before the corner of her mouth curled. "However, it will also be there when we get back." Her hand slipped from the back of Adelle's head, trailing lightly along her shoulder before falling away. Aselia finally eased back enough to give them both room, though she didn't put much distance between them.
"Drink." She glanced toward the scattered tools and partially tuned swoop, then gave Adelle an amused look. "We have time"
