- The most noticeable design of the droid is a lack of photoreceptors. Utilising the large mouthpiece, it is capable of sending off several frequencies simultaneously. By this, it can see visually through the detection of sonar by emitting low-level wavelengths, thus allowing the droid to see irregardless of low-level vision or smoke, but obviously has its set backs. Where photoreceptor droids may see in ultraviolet or infrared, the AT-CS1's are unable. They detect organics or other droids by the subtle movements during their sonar detection, and thus can sometimes mistaken moving cargo or other inanimate objects moved by sentient / programmed beings as another sentient / programmed being.
- The mouth piece is perhaps the most unique function of the droid. While simultaneously emitting low frequencies for purposes of sight, its voice can drastically change in volume at will. This can be used for the purposes of crowd control, or broadcasting messages.
- Among the droids unique complexities, it is designed with a wide variety of materials. Namely its energy source is Exonium, providing power for the droid on the go. A titanium hull keeps everything together on the inside, where vital programming computers is encased by titanium shelves. A thin layer of agrinium has been coated over the titanium to provide light resistance to radiation, and providing a moderately effective barrier against blaster fire, lacerations or blunt force. Agrinium also serves as an anti-corrosive layer for the titanium due to its aluminium properties. Duralium and lanthanide has been combined to fit the exterior plating of the security droids. A final mixture of terenthium and desh provides a super-light coating to bolster the exterior shell protection.
- The first thing people will notice, cybernetic eyes and mouth piece aside, is that the droid is relatively short. Standing nine inches shorter than the average human. The droid was designed to fit the proportions of an Iskalloni, providing relatively ease of transport for Autrio Technologies, and easier transport for other governments due to their relatively small frame and stature.
