APPEARENCE
Asterion is a well-built man, quite muscular but not imposing. This comes from his heritage and he has made sure to keep his look. Sun kissed and sporting thick styled black hair and heavy stubble, he doesn’t appear immaculately groomed but it suits him.

Dark eyes burn into those who face him and it is one of few clues to the fact he is not entirely human which you can’t see from afar.

He often wears a black and gold trimmed tunic and jacket, colours that relate to his home world, and a dark red shirt underneath. Black trousers and boots complete the look, and he carries a small utility belt holding a galactic holo-map, a blaster and a custom made crimson lightsaber.

When heading into danger, he has old Sith Knight armour from the Sith Order that he wears with his battle-scarred robe and cowl to give the appearance of what many Sith look like - dark shadows.

BIOGRAPHY:

PRE-SITH
Asterion was born a bastard, and he knows it. His mother, a human Jedi Padawan, was raped on the planet Panatha by an Epicanthix, a Near-Human, after she befriended him on her travels. Fleeing the Outer Rim with her scars, she told no-one of the incident and if questions were raised about her pregnancy, the father simply was a soldier and would be home after his service for the Republic was served in the Unknown Regions. A big, horrid lie.

She gave birth to a son 1 month early on Korriban in the Valley of the Dark Lords whilst she was exploring the ancient ruins of the Sith. Surrounded by the presence of the Dark Side of the Force, Asterion was returned home to Coruscant and given his name to mark his half-human, half-Epicanthix heritage, but the name really meant half-man, half-monster, something she saw her son as due to the rape.

He grew up an angry child His mother found it hard to love him and his growing anger at his childhood became more and more difficult to bear. Eventually his Force heritage was becoming more developed as he experimented in controlling and understanding his power with the help of the Jedi on Coruscant, assisting his mother to raise him as best they could for a stable future.

However Asterion’s emotions and conflicting message about his parents led him to dark places, and in his late teenage years studying in the Order, he turned on a fellow Padawan learner who mocked his heritage and impaled him with his own lightsaber. He broke down a confused and fragile man.

His mother tried to read his mind with the Force, but he was naturally resistant to Force intrusion. Striking a deal to seek out his father, they piloted a ship to Korriban. There, Asterion was deceived by his mother and left on the planet in the very place he was born as “the darkness belongs here; so you belong here”. He never saw her again and the darkness consumed him.

It was surviving off the natural land around him, connecting with the darkness that kept him alive in an almost animalistic state. It was only when scavengers landed planet-side that he managed to use their supplies and supplements to build him back up. After killing the scavengers of course. They were all young women wanting to seek out artefacts to sell. With no-one to train or guide him the Dark Side of the Force, Asterion has devoted his later years to studying the ways of the Dark Side and those that control and seek it to give himself a purpose and become a figure of power and greatness, thanks to have no-one believe in him as a child.

On Korriban, Asterion encountered a Dark Sorceress who proved to him that his arrogance and lack of understanding of the Sith and Force itself would get him killed, as his hostility resulted in her nearly killing him teaching him to not under-estimate any opponent.

It was days later that his time on Korriban ended when he was assaulted and brutally taken away to 'The Judgement', a Sith ship owned by Kara Vi'dreya, Lady Kyros of the Sith Order. He assumed being on a planet rich in Sith history, he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time...

SITH TRAINING
Lady Kyros began to unlock the darkness inside Asterion, with the help of the mighty Thyrian Ashborn, to make him a worthy Sith as she took him as her Apprentice, making him a Sith Acolyte.

Difficult at first to learn not to argue with her and her training, Asterion learnt the hard way in which she continued to break his physical and mental state and slowly rebuilt him as a fierce, loyal Sith who accompanied her Order across the galaxy to seek new establishments and develop a strong Faction.

With others such in the order, Asterion proved his loyalty and dedication to serve Lady Kyros even whilst he did lock horns numerous times with Thryrian and a few of the other Acolytes. But this just encouraged him to prove he was born to be a powerful Sith and that they could re-shape the galaxy as one unified Order.

SITH KNIGHT
After successful missions taken with fellow Acolytes, Asterion was granted the rank of Sith Knight by Kara Vi'dreya before she would disappear from leading The Sith Order, handing her operations to Lord Kentarch and others of the high ranking Sith whilst she went off the radar for reasons unknown to Asterion.

Safe to say her absence has derailed Asterion's path with The Sith Order as he awaited further training and combat development with Thyrian, many months after their constant battles and arguments. He has taken it upon himself to continue searching out secrets of the Sith across the galaxy to further his own knowledge to make him more powerful and unique, away from the frustration of the Sith Order. Encountering those adapt in Dark Magic, Sorcery and even fellow Sith and Jedi Knights, Asterion continued to gain experience and knowledge as well as a few more cuts and bruises along the way.

As The Sith Order seems to be falling apart around him after Lady Kyros vanished without warning, Asterion drifted from those around him with no guidance and continued to become a loner and a man once more hurt by those he trusted. Asterion has sworn to have his revenge on Kara when she returns, after he gave her his everything and was simply abandoned.

Whilst on Korriban seeking some answers about the future of his life, Asterion was approached by a mysterious Sith known as Lord Kryptus who offered the broken Knight a new future ahead serving the mysterious Rave Merill, a figure who promises great power and ascension within the Sith in return for Asterion's loyalty. Noting the name, Asterion reached breaking point of having no set place in the galaxy and returned to Teth to seek answers from Thyrian Ashborn and the whereabouts of Lady Kyros. As the two locked horns, Kyros revealed herself and proposed Asterion return to her to continue his training.

But, rather than jump in headfirst, Asterion proclaimed he would return to her with an answer in time whilst he decided which was the best choice for him. In that time he travelled to Coruscant on the lead of a name that had plagued him for many months - deWinter, the Sorceress who nearly killed him on Korriban. After settling old confrontations with Nessarose, Asterion decided to take the step forward and sent out a signal to the Sith across the galaxy as he returned to his home world of Korriban.

There, Darth Mierin arrived and offered Asterion the chance to follow her and join The One Sith who would nurture and release his full potential as a Sith in return for his loyalty and strength. Leaving with her, Asterion joined The One Sith; half fuelled for his quest for greatness and half fuelled for a bitter revenge against all those who betrayed him. But seeing the One Sith as nothing more than a delusional force out to conquer with no regards to inner development, Asterion didn't stay long and left them to continue their path of war against the galaxy.

Seeking out a call from the rising Empire of the Hand, where his knowledge of the Force would be used to help seek out others either posing a threat or alliance with the Empire, Asterion began to seek out those across the galaxy who needed to be eliminated or recruited, not just for the Empire, but his own drive as a Sith warrior. However the Empire soon fell quiet, and his efforts were wasted, so he left another pointless Faction driven by people aiming to be something they weren't. Asterion decided to continue his path alone, to seek those who could be moulded from his knowledge and training to continue to battle the light.

He encountered confrontations in all forms as he traced Sith history, from a Mandalorian bounty hunter to a fully fledged Jedi Master, Corvus Raaf, hunting down Sith for the Galactic Republic. The battle with Raaf tested his ability, both mentally and physically and he only just survived the battle with minor wounds, highlighting his flaws and lack of real guidance. Asterion returned to the Teth bunker and whilst there was summoned by Empress Nimue Stormson of Effekt who was seeking a Sith to teach her how to use the Force and also become a worthy warrior. Reluctantly accepting, Asterion started to relish the company and conversation of another in power who wanted to use their ability for greater things.
After he had served his purpose and the two forged a strong acceptance and understanding of each other.

Asterion left and eventually made a move on his next plan; to kidnap young Felicity Mason, daughter of Feena, Queen of Naboo. With a strong Force aura, Asterion planned the operation for months and struck when she was on the planet of Ession. He took the girl away to Korriban to attempt to release her potential as his own Dark Side apprentice to fight alongside him. Managing to drive down her defence and resolve on Korriban and then in the old Sith Order bunker on Teth, Asterion showed a weakness - his past.

Felicity managed to talk to Asterion in a way no-one else ever had and made him question his choices and his past. However her Force-sensitive father, Keter, and Graxin Rade, who witnessed her kidnapping, traced her aura to the planet and confronted Asterion in a tense stand-off. Felicity saw the start of a duel, but pleaded for both to stop so she could go home with her family and allow Asterion the time needed to answer questions she had made him raise. Sporting a deep scar on his face from an attack of desperation by the girl, Asterion would never be the same again once the family left him in the ruins of the Order he once served and now faced an uncertain future.

As the galaxy plunges into darkness with the nightmarish Netherworld rupture, Asterion is a broken man and hides away, waiting for the chance to return a changed man. However it is Empress Nimue Stormson who finds him after years in hiding and offers a hand to save him from despair. The two return to Effekt as lovers, locked in a passion for each other formed from when they met years before. Asterion needs to feel like he has purpose and she gives it to him, as he will prove she is worth his time and devotion. Nimue bridges Asterion to the Primeval and Anja Aj'Rou, Host Lord, who promises to allow Asterion to join Nimue in their ranks if he can prove himself to her.

But as Asterion devotes himself to Nimue and her personal development on Effekt as a warrior and Empress, there is a darker secret she needs to break to Asterion that could change her life, and his, forever...
