Strengths -

  • Spacer Born - Though not born to organic parents, Aster was adopted by them, and grew up aboard starships in the merchant trade. Though not formally trained, a lifetime of experience has given her a wealth of skills and a high level of competence.

  • Quick Study - Aster, like many members of his species, finds it very easy to learn new skills and behaviors, making it simple for her to adapt to new methods and situations.

  • Innocuous - An advantage inherent in belonging to a small race; when necessary, Aster can drop from the notice of most beings, disappearing in a crowd, blending in with her surroundings, or just hiding in a place no one would bother to look.

  • Dexterity - Aster is small, but quick and nimble, and can put these advantages to use against larger beings quite dramatically. Though not much of a close-in fighter, she can weave and dodge easily, and scurry away.

  • Beanpole - Aster is tall for a Miln, about twenty centimeters taller than average, to be exact. Growing up, this constantly doomed her to being the one called on to get things off high shelves, though it does have its advantages. She is still quite short compared to many other species, of course.

  • To Death - Like all Miln, Aster has a rather dramatic reaction to being cornered. Though her normal response to danger is to run and hide, if backed up against a wall, literal or figurative, or presented with a no-win scenario, she will try to either fight her way out or go down swinging, preferably taking a few of her opponents with her. It isn't quite a berserker rage, as she can still think clearly, but her thought processes speed up and her creativity seems to become sharper, sometimes literally.
Weaknesses -

  • Short Changed - A diminutive being, and an rodent to boot, very few beings take Aster very seriously at first encounter. She constantly finds she has to prove herself to beings dismissive of her.

  • Physically Weak - Being as small as she is, Aster's raw strength and constitution leave much to be desired. She is good at dodging and being light on her feet, but it only takes one or two good connected blows to put her out; she also can't hit very hard, and has to rely more on weapons and clever tactics than punches or kicks. She also can't lift heavy objects that the average Human wouldn't struggle with.

  • Flight or Fight - Aster, like all Miln, is a little high strung. Cursed with the instincts of a small prey animal, it is a conscious effort for the diminutive rodentoid not to panic in the company of many alien races, especially those larger than her, which accounts for a huge portion of the sapient population. A lifetime of travel has dulled these instincts to a point, and she has developed her own techniques for dealing with them, but they constantly bubble beneath the surface.
Appearance -
Aster Jaenke is a fairly typical "test-tube" Miln, sharing features with hundreds of brothers and sisters in Miln space. She is an albino, with no natural pigments in her skin or fur. She has larger-than-average ears - considered attractive in Miln females - and a slender build. Her hair is white, though she keeps it cropped to fur length for practical reasons.
Aster is somewhat unique in her stature, a result of the randomized genetic material which went into her creation in order to keep the Miln gene pool healthy. She has a lankier build than the majority of Miln, which manifested in a childhood growth spurt; she has longer arms and legs than average, a shorter torso, and is a full 20 centimeters taller than average, standing at 1.2 meters (about 3' 11").
Aster does not usually wear the skin-tight getup seen above. Normally, she can be found in more casual garb, more often than not simple spacer coveralls.
Equipment -
Aster usually carries a number of items on her person, useful equipment and weapons. They include the following:
Vehicles - N/A.
Droids - N/A.
Biography -
Aster Jaenke was born Aster 3-472-57, a "Test Tube" Miln infant created as part of a program by the Miln government to artificially bolster the Miln species' relatively small population. Cloned from a randomized donor template and hybridized with artificially sequenced genetic material in order to keep the Miln gene pool healthy, she was brought to term through artificial means, and was born in what could only be described by a state-run factory.
The goal of the program was to create a generation of functional citizens, of course, and Aster was to be raised by a real Miln family and naturally integrated into society. Her volunteer parents were a spacer couple, Dale and Tinker Jaenke, Dale having lost the ability to have offspring of her own, though she and her mate had long wanted children.

Aster was thus raised as a spacer, growing up aboard the Type 199 deep-space freighter Main Event, which plied Miln space and beyond. Her family made regular runs to ports in the Bajic Sector, exposing the young female to manifold alien beings and cultures. During her childhood and young adult years, Aster grew to have a taste for adventure, becoming enamored with the exotic sights and sounds and people of the wider Galaxy.

Now, in her late 20s, Aster is still a spacer, traveling aboard Main Event with her friends and family as part of a Miln convoy. At her urging, the group has gone further and further out from Miln space, past even the limits of surveys conducted by the Miln Astrogational Corps, finding lucrative trading deals and new things to see and do...

Uhuh, yeah, sure. Good luck getting pass a literal legion of 4200 elite guards, all soon to be equipped with Cortosis, followed by an upgrade to Beskar, and then the personal guard of the royal family, the 101 Godslayer guards, all of them of the Arenzebite species, who have been known to lift a starfighter by themselves.

Endoricus? As in, me burning a part of Endor to the ground for mining operations? *Evil Smiley face go!*

Take away the dead bodies by burning them to ash, he has no army. Now, to gas his home village, if I can find it...
