  • Canon: N/A
  • Links: Shard
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Asmenys Sergeti - Blade Guardian in Sith
  • Designation: Sentient.
  • Origins: Bastion
  • Average Lifespan: Millennium
  • Estimated Population: Semi-Unique
  • Description: Asmenys Sergeti look like normal Sith Swords at a first glance, however they are entirely living weapons. When on the move they float through the air, swinging themselves as the dangerous weapon they are.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: N/A
  • Average Height of Adults: 140 cm
  • Average Length of Adults: N/A
  • Skin color: N/A
  • Hair color: N/A
  • Distinctions: The Blade Guardians look identical to common Sith Swords, or more extravagant ones depending on their creators tastes. They are all, however, long swords.
  • Force Sensitivity: All
Strengths:
  • They are Sentient Sith Swords, acting as the traditional Sith weapon.
  • With enough training they can swing themselves around using telekinesis.
  • They are loyal to their master, listening only to them once bonded.
  • When inactive, they are indistinguishable from normal Sith Swords.
  • They can guard a location or a person, and will do so until ordered otherwise or the person or location is destroyed.
Weaknesses:
  • They are swords, and even with their telekinetic training they can only lift themselves. They cannon operate or manipulate anything else.
  • They require training to control themselves.
  • Their sentience is limited due to how they're created. They can understand their masters orders and training, but are otherwise unable to communicate.
  • Without a bond they go inactive, residing as Sith Swords. Because of how rare they are, they're often only seen as Sith Swords and can remain without a master to wake them for centuries.
  • The bonding ritual takes several days and many materials, on top of being difficult to achieve. No Acolyte will be able to bond with one.
  • As Sith Spawn the Light Side of the Force, specifically Force Light, can cause the weapons to break and erode, killing the Shard and destroying it's form with enough exposure.
CULTURE
  • Diet: N/A
  • Communication: They use Telepathy to let their masters know if they understand their orders or not.
  • Technology level: N/A
  • Religion/Beliefs: N/A
  • General behavior: These Sithspawn are completely loyal to their owners and follow all orders to the letter. When not carrying out orders or once they finish, they go inactive, hiding in plain sight until they receive new orders. Often they're told to guard a location, remaining inactive for years until someone tries to enter. Once active, they swing their bodies through the air to take down any trespasser relentlessly, until they or their target die, or the target leaves the protected location.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Need or experiment. Kahlil would say both. As part of his venture into Alchemy and after finding himself on the receiving end of a Jedi's lightsaber he found a need to defend himself without requiring his attention. His Spellwork often required his full attention after all. After learning of the Shards existence he set out to crafting a Sithspawn that could hide in plain sight.

Deep under the Bastion temple Kahlil and a number of other Alchemists set about the task of warping the silicon lifeforms into obedient blades. They rest there, waiting for those who would undertake the dangerous ritual to bond them, ever patient. Ever obedient. They appear as ornate blades, sworn to protect what ever their masters demand them to until their master dies, or they are finally destroyed and released from this slavery.

So this is a really cool idea. But the submission, as it stands, is more a weapon/factory sub than a species/codex sub. So I'm going to give you two choices- you can retool it as a cluster of sentient sith swords for factory, or retool it to make it more clear that this is a species. Right now there's too many N/As and not enough things to make it a species versus what is already covered in the weapons stuff for factory. To keep it a species I'd need you to fill in most of those, give them some kind of culture between each other, things like that. Let me know which you want to do.
