Strengths: Flexible- The Ashwalker Duster is a flexible set of armor for the level of protection it provides. It is able to achieve this due to the mixture of leather, flexarmor, and armorweave that are used to create most of the armor. The joints are hindered as little as possible with the only material covering it being sullust leather lined in armor weave.

Durable- The Ashwalker Duster is a durable set of armor. The reason for this durability is due to the leather and flexarmor that make up most of it. The materials are able to withstand environmental effects for an extended period of time before they start to show effects from it. It is also able to go longer periods of time between regular repairs to maintain it.

Weaknesses: Repairs- The Ashwalker Duster is a durable piece of armor, but it has issues when it does need repairs. The mixture of sullust leather, flexarmor, and armorweave that went into making the armor means that more materials are needed to fix it. This also means that is expensive to fix when it does need repairs.

Gaps- The Ashwalker Duster might be flexible, but it makes some sacrifices for it. The armor has some gaps between flexarmor plates that leave only armorweave lined leather for protection. This means that if someone aims for these gaps then they can piece through more easily than if they hit the plates. This is particularly true for the joints that were left as unhindered as possible.

Description: Protection is something that everyone needs in the galaxy. This need is particularly true for those who live a more violent lifestyle, such as mercenaries, soldiers, and bounty hunters. John knows well how much of a difference a set of armor can make on your survival, so he decided to custom make a set. He decided to focus on something that can act as both casual clothing and protective armor.

The Ashwalker Duster was created using a base of sullust leather covered in plates. The sullust leather base is made by placing a layer of armorweave over the top of the leather. This base is then covered in plates to cover as much of the body as possible without hindering its flexibility. The plates were crafted mostly out of flexarmor with durasteel plates over the wrists to allow for attachments to be placed over them. The helmet was fashioned from a durasteel covered in a layer of duraplast with duraglass for the visor. A duster made from sullust leather lined in armorweave was added to provide some additional protection and to potentially hide the armor underneath.

Several features were added to the armor to finish it up. The helmet was given a HUD, internal communicator, a tracker, a rebreather ,an advanced filtration system, video and audio recorders, and night vision since most of them are standard by this point for all helmets. The armor was vacuum sealed and given an air tank with 30 minutes of air that hooks up to the helmet for situations when air is unavailable. Magnetic locks were added to the bottom of the boots so that space walking is possible. A communicator and holoprojector was attached to the bottom of the right wrist in case it is needed, such as when he is lacking his helmet. Two pistol holsters were added with one being on each hip. The armor is finished up by adding all kinds of pockets and pouches to the armor and duster to allow for storage of small objects.
