[SIZE=11pt]As much as it is a weakness for the Asdroni in the wider scheme of things, the high specialization of the Asdroni also makes it work wonders when in the role it’s supposed to be: an escort to eliminate enemy starfighters, it’s maser cannons being more than capable of dismantling entire squadrons with ease or weakening the enemy enough for Clawcraft to zip along and tear the survivors apart.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]An Asdroni is made to kill Starfighters and the like and only Starfighters and the like, it’s Maser cannons doing absolutely pitiful damage to a capital ship and it’s shields barely able to stand against a proper capital ship.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]The Asdroni is made to be an escort ship, and unless striking at a particularly weak or starfighter focused enemy an Asdroni on it’s own is likely a dead Asdroni: something the Hand can not afford.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]A gross many of the enemies of the Empire of the Hand revolve around the use of their starfighters, nefarious alien pirates and beyond launching out vicious strikes with skilled pilots. The Asdroni was created to fulfill the role of removing these enemies, the basic design of the Asdroni was pulled from the ancient database within the Hand of Thrawn through the reborn Empire of the Hand did take some liberties in redesigning and modernizing the schematics for the vessel: though for the most part it remains unchanged.[/SIZE]​

[SIZE=11pt]The largest change comes in the targeting assistance systems for the gunners of the Asdroni, these automated systems are used to assist the organic gunners in tracking fast moving enemy fighters and make sure every single blast fired out from an Asdroni can count. [/SIZE]​

[SIZE=11pt]A remarkably dangerous vessel as much as it is pathetic, but a well placed formation of Asdroni will be the bane of any fighter squadrons.[/SIZE]​
