NAME: Aryn Grimm
FACTION: The Sith Empire
RANK: Sergeant/Special Forces
SPECIES: Near-Human
AGE: Prime
SEX: Female
HEIGHT: 180 cm
Build: Well-muscled, boxers build
EYES: Green
HAIR: Brown
SKIN: Pale
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes
ATTRIBUTES:
Special Forces: Aryn is trained to utilize nearly any ground-based weapon system, from basic spears to crew-served weaponry. She has some training in ground support weaponry equipped on drop ships, but no training on any naval weapon or tactic.
Attitude: One of the reasons Aryn does so well in combat is her attitude. She doesn’t give up, she just pushes on. The downside is she can be overbearing in social situations, and the option of retreat gets difficult for her to even imagine as her blood gets up.
BIOGRAPHY:
Aryn never knew her parents. She grew up on the streets of Coruscant, though she wasn’t ever really aware of who owned it. The slums in the lower levels of Coruscant have almost universally been overlooked by most planetary governments for the majority of the planets tenure of existence. Into these slums, Aryn the Orphan lived life on the streets. An orphanage run by some charitable organization, the Sisters of the Golden Erinyes, had been her home for as long as she could remember. During the days she explored the streets and alleys of her slums, keeping out of the ways of the adults running the various gangs that truly owned the streets she lived on and eking out a living through petty crimes and violence. At night she had a bed and a meal waiting for her. The Sisters never seemed to mind that was all Aryn and most of the other orphans used the place for.
As Aryn got older, she moved from the orphanage to one of the gangs. That gang was taken over by another gang, and again. Each time, Aryn was low enough on the totem pole to survive the violence, and useful enough to be kept around. This trend led her off world as she became a young adult, and she looked like she would have a good life in the underworld.
That is until a group she was leading in a spree of crimes on a planet that the Sith Empire decided to take for themselves ran afoul of the invading army. Her compatriots took umbrage on the Legionnaires interrupting their work, not having much in the way of intelligence. They attacked a squad, and were mowed down. Aryn survived the melee by not being there. She saw the aftermath when she got back to where they had been squatting. It wasn’t something new to her, planetary forces tended to have way more firepower than the gangs of the galaxy. They always had to watch out for this group or that group that could squash their operations. Aryn was finally sick of it.
She turned herself in to a Legionnaire squad and joined up. Through training she proved to be adept at using almost any weapon put in her hands. The underbelly of the galaxy showed her weapons systems designed by just about every race imaginable. Her penchant for violence got her some trouble, as she initially didn’t take orders very well from her instructors. A couple of brawls and a stint in the brig later, she was able to restrain herself from bursting into violence when someone insulted her. By the end of training she was almost a model soldier. Her instructors had been impressed enough to recommend her for induction into a special forces training unit. From there, she’s worked hard to earn her place. The camaraderie that she had with her fellows on the streets was there, but now she also had a direction.
