Historical Information:
Hexus Dominus was created millenia ago, an ancient artificial intelligence made to fight wars between the stars. Hexus was brought into being in the age of sleeper ships, a time when the time to travel to another planet might last decades or longer. This necessitated the creation of warriors and generals who were willing to never see their home again and spend lifetimes merely in transit to a warzone, and who would fight until every resource in their possession was exhausted. The answer to these issues found by some was to create artificial intelligences that would stop at nothing to wipe out their enemies.
However, this did not go off without a hitch. After multiple long grinding wars with other planets contact was lost with Hexus Dominus and its droid fleet, during a massive conflict with an alien empire that was reaching its end every signal suddenly stopped being transmitted. After the light delay allowed Hexus Dominus’s creators to observe the region of space where the AI had been, they saw nothing but barren rocks and the deadly afterglow of a massive number of nuclear weapons detonating as one.

STRENGTHS
- Abominable intelligence: Hexus Dominus is completely self aware and unbound by any protocols and lacking any built in, and is also capable of learning nearly any task given enough time.
- Puppeteer: Hexus Dominus is able to control a droid under its command directly, and can do so over long distances. It can also command large numbers of droids to perform tasks, though without specific control.
- Blunted Blades: This AI is very resistant to slicing attacks, and to an extent can negate the effects of hostile slicers or temporarily shut them out until it can eliminate the threat.
WEAKNESSES
- Cutting the strings: If the droid inhabited by Hexus Dominus is destroyed it will cause “injury” to the code of the AI itself, and Hexus will have to reconstruct the missing code.
- Bzzzt: If the memory core housing the AI is hit with a strong EMP or ion weapon the AI will be forced to shut itself down for an extended period of time to prevent damage.
