BIOGRAPHY:
Born into a military family, Ar'rek was destined to join the Republic Navy. Her father was a high ranking Captain and always pressured her to do her best. Tossed into the Naval Academy as soon as she was of age she graduated with mediocre grades overall but was top of her class when it came to piloting. With the most hours logged in the simulator and highest accuracy rating in flight it seemed she was a natural when she was behind the yoke. Despite her prowess on the field her family was not happy with the grades she received. Due to the stigma her race received from originating on the same world as the Vong her family believed that if they were going to do something, they had to be the best at it to prove to the galaxy that the Glaucus wasn't a terrible group or a waste of space. While this train of thought was common among Glaucus, it rang especially true due to their ties with the Arterius family on Tatooine. The Zavros family was always under the microscope of the military police, or at least that's what her father said.

After the Academy she was sent into basic training near the Zeltros system. Her father was killed in the Sith's initial assault, killed in the Battle of Coruscant. He was honored for saving the men of his ship, but Ar'rek was not allowed to attend the military funeral nor receive the award for her father. Her hate for the Sith fueled her studies and as the Sith continued their advance and recruitment lines were flooded with new entries even with the Sith's two victories she held hope that the Republic would stand tall and beat back their invaders.
